"This is the new Democrat Party, and if we don't resist this, the United States is going to become Portland," Paul said.
A total beatdown.
Democrats act like ignoring the case against Hunter Biden, makes it untrue. The fact is that no democrat or media talking head has ever argued that Hunter WAS qualified and IS qualified, in any regard, to consult with a Ukrainian energy company. Democrats refuse to own the fact that Joe Biden is as corrupt, if not more so than they accuse Trump of being.
'You simply cannot fake your way through this job,' Michelle Obama said of the presidency, and she's right. That's why you shouldn't vote for Joe. //
Appealing to her intimate knowledge of the office of the presidency, the former first lady offered a glimpse of what it takes to lead the country. Instead of inspiring confidence in the former vice president, however, her speech disqualified Biden for the Oval.
“I am one of a handful of people living today who have seen firsthand the immense weight and awesome power of the presidency. And let me once again tell you this: The job is hard,” Michelle Obama said. “It requires clear-headed judgment, a mastery of complex and competing issues, a devotion to facts and history, a moral compass, and an ability to listen — and an abiding belief that each of the 330,000,000 lives in this country has meaning and worth.” //
Clear-headed judgment? A mastery of complex issues? A commitment to life? In just one short list of requirements, Obama betrayed Biden’s capacity.
The long months of this election cycle have consisted of gaffe after gaffe from Biden, causing onlookers to question his mental fitness and thus to doubt his “clear-headed judgment.”
We are on the doorstep of one of the biggest voter fraud operations ever perpetrated on any country on this planet.
Not a redeeming quality to be found here.
AG William Barr on Aug. 9 criticized members of the Democratic Party who, during a hearing last month, remained silent on the burning of federal courts. //
Barr claimed that Democrats now believe in “tearing down the system” and pursue absolute victory as “a substitute for religion.”
“I think what’s happened is that the left-wing has really withdrawn and pulled away from the umbrella of classical liberal values that have undergirded our society since our founding,” Barr continued. “And within the family, we’ve had two ways of resolving disputes. One is discussion, the dialectic, the marketplace of ideas, trying to arrive at the truth.”
“We had an idea that there was some truth to arrive at. And then if we couldn’t reach agreement, a vote, and that’s how we operated.”
Barr added that he believes the left has now “essentially withdrawn from this model” and instead represents a “Rousseauian revolutionary party that believes in tearing down the system.”
“They’re interested in complete political victory, they’re not interested in compromise, dialect, exchange of views. It’s a secular religion, it’s a substitute for religion,” Barr added. “They view their political opponents as evil, because we stand in the way of their ‘progressive utopia’ that they’re trying to reach. That’s what gives the intensity to the partisan feeling that people feel today.”
"Donald Trump is absolutely right." //
“Joe Biden is unfit to be president, and Joe Biden is a racist. Joe Biden has the mindset of a plantation owner. He thinks he knows how every black person thinks, how we walk, what we should eat.
Joe Biden doesn’t understand that black people are individuals. Condoleezza Rice and Al Sharpton are different individuals. We have a different mindset.
No one black person speaks for black America. //
“He [Biden] has been lying about his civil rights record for decades. He lied and said the NAACP endorsed him for every one of his campaigns. Actually, the NAACP has endorsed him for zero of his campaigns.
He lied and said he was arrested trying to visit [late South African president] Nelson Mandela.
And for decades he said that ‘I have participated in desegregating restaurants and movie theaters in Wilmington, Delaware. Zero evidence!
The New York Times looked at it and said, years ago, that his adviser gently reminded Joe to stop saying it because it wasn’t true, and he kept saying it anyway. //

The sudden U-turn from Cuomo and Schumer on school openings suggests the months-long Democrat position of banning children from going to school was a political disaster for them.

Sen. Chuck Schumer: "If we don't open up the schools, you're going to hurt the economy significantly."
If the Democrats had anything on William Barr, they would have forced him to answer questions. They don't, so they just talked over him.Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing with Attorney General William Barr was really something to behold. Almost every Democrat played from the same playbook, starting with Chairman Jerry Nadler, who told Barr he should be ashamed of himself. One after the other, they heaped scorn on the attorney general in a build up to some question that they refused to allow Barr to answer. There is a serious giveaway in this tactic. When a member of Congress thinks he or she has a witness dead to rights for having made mistakes, or made false statements, the lawmaker tries to compel the witness to answer hard questions, not refuse to allow it. The problem Monday was that Barr clearly had very good answers for every question he was asked. There was no gotcha because he did nothing wrong and could explain that. //
This had nothing to do with finding out what is happening across America and why the Department of Justice is undertaking the actions it is, but purely about political theater.
If you need further evidence of this, note that there was not one successful line of questioning that left Barr with no good answers. Had such a moment occurred, not only would it have been newsworthy, it would have been plastered on every screen in the country. //
The United States is very lucky to have William Barr as the attorney general. There may be no more essential person in the government at the moment. Time and again, he applies the law and only the law to his sound decisions. For this, he is rewarded with media scorn and threats of impeachment.
But Barr isn’t on the ropes. He remains in the center of the ring, impervious, throwing his punches.
Says it all. //
AG Barr after being interrupted again:
"Well, this is a hearing. I thought I was the one who was supposed to be heard."
Biden's promises to the the rest of the world stand in stark contrast to what he plans to accomplish for the American worker on Day One, which is nothing.
The Democrats aren't shy about what they want to do to you. Don't let them succeed. //
The Democrats are showing you what’s in store for the United States, and maybe even the west, if they’re given the chance to take control. Your rights will be challenged and trampled on, false narratives and blatant lies will thrive, taxes will skyrocket, your children will be indoctrinated, and there’s a strong chance that even defending yourself from any wrongdoing against you will be punished.
I wish I could tell you that this was just hyperbole from a fed-up right-leaning commentator but it’s not. The Democrats are very open about its intent. It’s become so bold in its positions that it has no qualms about telling you what its aims and goals are. They’re not shy about it, they’re proud.
They’re proud of the fact that they want to enact their brand of tyranny on you because they believe that they truly are in the right. They believe that they can make you better if you’re just forced to do what they think you should and act the way they demand. They feel that without their guidance, you are a racist, bigoted, destructive, and hateful human being.
This can’t be allowed to succeed. This can’t be allowed to continue.
There is no question who represents evil and who represents good now. It’s never been more apparent than it is now.
“Is it going to be Joe Biden or Donald Trump. I mean, think about the cancel culture mob [that] says that if you stand for the pledge now, you stand for the anthem, somehow you’re terrible,” Jordan said.
[…]
“The fundamental question, I think, for the American people is who do you think can stand up to the mob? Joe Biden or President Trump? That is really what this election now in my mind all boils down to,” Jordan said.
“Where does it end? Where does it stop? No one is safe with the mob and that’s why it is so important that we stand up now before this gets even more out of control. Stand up and say it is wrong, it should not happen, this politically correct cancel culture left-wing mob is exactly wrong for this country and this election is when we can stand up and say ‘we’re not going to tolerate it.'” //

America's choice is clear:
Mob Rule or Law & Order
The presser was really bad.
Senator Tim Scott, the lone black Republican in the U.S. Senate, put forward a good police reform bill, and yesterday, Senate Democrats defeated it.
Scott, who has been at the forefront of police reform efforts in the Senate, put his bill forward, offering a lot of good reform policies that would alleviate many of the issues activists on the left and right want to see fixed. The bill even won some praise in mainstream media outlets, and earned him at least one profile at Politico.
One would think, with massive protests and plenty of vocal activists out there, that Scott would be praised for his work. He has been incredibly vocal about his experience as a black man in America, discussing his own interactions with police and the type of discrimination he has faced in his life. However, putting the bill forward and offering solutions on the issue — an issue that has bipartisan agreement over things that should be done — was not enough for the Democratic Party, whose Senators blocked the bill on Wednesday afternoon and ended up on the receiving end of an angry speech from Scott afterward.
Scott’s anger is understandable. His bill was lied about by some folks (like Corey Booker) and straight-up condemned by others (like Kamala Harris) before they’d even read it. Senate Republicans offered Democrats twenty chances to amend the bill. Twenty. They offered nothing, and they never wanted to change what Scott’s bill offered.
Not because they thought it was a bad bill but because they did not want to hand a GOP Senator a victory on the issue.
Consider the GOP’s treatment of the bill in the Senate versus House Democrats’ treatment of their own bill in the other chamber: While Republicans offered Senate Democrats a chance to amend the bill, Democrats voted to bring their bill to the floor without allowing a single GOP amendment. That says a lot about the Democrats, and none of it good in the fight to bring real police reform. //
As Scott acknowledged later in the day, it’s not about police reform, but who was offering it. The Democratic Party does not want a Republican, even the Senate GOP’s only black member, to get any sort of win on the issue, and it is clear now that their party will try to run out the clock before the August recess in order to run on the issue in November.
I have a few theories about what made my article about being a Democrat who went to a Trump rally go massively viral. Perhaps it was the… //
But what was so refreshing was that there was very little talk about race or gender or orientation or anything that would indicate a collectivist mindset. People viewed each other as individuals and engaged in discussions of ideas.
In theory, I knew this would be the case, but experiencing it in practice was different. You must understand that right now in the land of the Democrats, EVERYTHING is about identity politics. Every. Single. Thing. And race is at the top of the list. If you’re white, no matter what you say or what you do, you are expected to be contrite in your inherent racism and continually re-affirm your shame in how you were born. It does not matter if you grew up poor, or how you’ve struggled, or any hardships you’ve had to overcome. All that matters is the color of your skin. Or your gender. Or your orientation. Or your ableness. It is exhausting to have to live in a constant state of self-deprecating purity and to perceive everything in your experience as a struggle between those who have power and those who are “oppressed.”
It wasn’t like that at CPAC. People didn’t see others as a race, or a gender, or an orientation, or a disability. They saw each other as people who were fully capable of stepping into their greatness without a handout. And some of the standouts at the whole event were those who the woke left would call “marginalized.” //
But perhaps one of the most striking things about my CPAC experience was the emphasis on individual liberties and privacy. This was a major theme that was consistent across the majority of the talks I attended. //
as I sat at CPAC and listened to all their talks about individual liberties and freedoms, it dawned on me that, although there are many things we differ on, I had been looking towards the wrong group of people to protect the things I care about the most.
Attacks on civil liberties are not coming from the right — they just want the government to get out of their business. The attacks are coming from the left. They’re coming from people who have convinced themselves that “words are violence.” They’re coming from people who are seeking to ban so-called “hate speech,” as if the speech that everyone agrees on ever needs to be protected. They’re coming from the social media giants who continue to ban conservatives for absurdly minor things while allowing progressives to harass and bully them with no repercussions. They’re coming from far-left groups like Antifa, who think that violence against your political opponents is always justified.
The conservatives I met at CPAC don’t care what the color of your skin is — they care about the content of your character. They don’t care who you love, or how you worshipped, or what you have between your legs. They believe in self-sufficiency and empowerment and about not paying taxes to support your lifestyle (but in return, they won’t ask you to pay taxes to support theirs). And they may not agree with everything you say, but they will defend your right to say it. //
Don’t worry, I’m not running right out to join the Republican party. I just escaped the grasp of the Democrats and am perfectly happy sitting in the land of the politically homeless for a while. But if I end up needing to choose between liberty and authoritarianism, I know exactly where to go.
The speech everyone should listen to...
The kente cloth isn't as friendly a symbol to black people as Dems think. //
But as USA Today points out, the Democrats publicity stunt was likely a little less researched than they thought. As it turns out, the kente cloth they wore were actually tied to affluent Africans who got rich selling their fellow Africans in the slave trade. //
The left is currently tearing down statues if the person depicted was even a little racist in their past, or just racist by today’s standards. They vandalized abolitionist Matthias Baldwin and he was saying “black lives matter” long before any of these activists were, so you don’t even have to be racist at all.
Regardless, the Democrats are now guilty of wearing a symbol of a rich, slave-trading empire that made its money on the backs of enslaved Africans and passing it off as showing solidarity with the American black community. What the kente cloth represented might have been forgotten over time, but rest assured, this is its history.
Which is probably appropriate, seeing as how the Democrats have a long history of taking part in and defending slavery, even to the point of going to war over it. If they were looking to leave that image behind and be embraced as the party that protects and supports minorities, maybe they should get a different symbol.
Pushing disinformation again... //
Did you catch that? They’re paying social media influencers to promote Democrats/Democratic issues. So that person whom a young person may be following for fashion is now going to be covertly pushing Democrats. //
Translation: we’re paying them to be covert propagandists for us and trick people that they aren’t obvious political stooges.

Very interesting -- Democrat groups are now paying non-political social media "influencers" to attack Republicans online, hoping it looks more organic.
Makes you wonder how much online conversation you see is real and genuine.
