Trump isn’t really on trial here, everyone who voted for him is. Democrats are arguing guilt by association, and they’re not stopping with Trump.

The secret history of the shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election

TIME wrote a very interesting piece making some very alarming claims. Namely, that a secret cabal banded together across the country to stop Donald Trump from winning re-election. This included everything from manipulating media coverage to getting election laws changed, at least according to TIME’s account. //

I just want to say that it is the opposite of Democracy when a secret cabal of wealthy and politically connected elites conspire to manipulate the rules and laws of an election in order to win
But s**, not like this is a new story
The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

No matter, this secret cabal isn’t made up of imaginary Russians so it’s all good. The left truly only care about election interference and manipulation when they deem it a threat to their own preferred outcomes. Otherwise, they are all for it. You won’t see the mainstream media decry this. You won’t see a tearful lament from Nancy Pelosi about the dangers it poses to our republic. Rather, this will all be ignored. Heck, it’ll be celebrated as a brilliant political strategy.
And while I’m sure some fact-checker will have qualms with me describing what this group did as manipulation, I believe the objective definition of that word more than applies here. When you seek to stop people from having information that could affect their vote, that’s manipulation. When you go and lobby to get certain laws changed specifically to help your side, that’s manipulation. It is what it is. //

This is the spin to make the truth, when it comes out, to be that the fraud was done to preserve Democracy.
Fiona Hill, a top Russia expert in the Trump administration, was the person who introduced former British spy Christopher Steele to a former think tank analyst who would serve as the primary source for an infamous dossier he compiled on President Donald Trump, according to newly declassified FBI notes. //

I can no longer count the many Democrats who have perjured themselves, but is remains very easy to count those who have been punished.

So did the powers that be really just use the national guard as a photo op show of strength only to shove them out onto parking garage concrete on a 38 degree night?

America has believed itself to be a two-party system diametrically opposed to one another, but as Greenwald said, there is definitely a ruling establishment that has become overtly comfortable in positions of power after having been in Washington for so long. Donors who fund the party of limited government may also fund the party of big government strictly to help themselves, and both parties will do what they can to further the donor’s interests.
As Newt Gingrich said, it’s all about who gets to spend the money and how much of it there is to spend. Fewer wars means a lot, I mean, a LOT, less spending. Regulatory cuts mean fewer lobbyists. All of that diminishes the power of the D.C. elite. It especially diminishes the power of the ”World’s most exclusive club.” McConnell and his allies hate that. That’s why he supports the impeachment of President Trump. //
Try former President Trump in the Senate. Keep his name in the public eye for the first hundred days of the Harris administration. Let everyone focus on Donald J. Trump. Most especially, continue to enrage the 74 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump and are pretty damned sure the election was stolen.
Best of all, all you RINOs will help Trump keep his base energized. Keep his base energized as they continue to support him…and not as a Presidential candidate, but as a kingmaker. What McConnell needs to be most afraid of, isn’t a second Presidential run by Trump. He needs to be deathly afraid of Donald J. Trump getting involved in Republican primaries for the 2022 mid-terms and the 2024 Presidential and down-ballot races. //
So please, Democrats and RINOs, keep beating on our Paladin. He can take it. You are just making him and us stronger. We will see you in 2022….and NO, Mitch. this time you don’t get any input on Republican candidates.
it is worth noting that the Democrats will also use impeachment to distract from the other parts of their agenda. They aren’t just using this process as a political attack, they will also use it as a smokescreen, a red herring designed to distract from their pursuit of policies that will further strengthen the government.
According to Rush, “They’re terrified that Trump is gonna unleash classified documents. You know, he’s got a bevy of ’em, folks. He’s got classified documents about the hoax, the four-year coup […] the four-year effort to get the election results of 2016 overturned. There are all kinds of people who broke the law, all kinds of people who are quaking in their boots. They’re worried silly that Trump is gonna unleash some of these classified documents.”
Rush also says they’re terrified Trump will pardon people “dangerous to the establishment.”
“Why did they want to stop Trump in the first place? Because they didn’t want what they have been up to (which is no good) for years to ever come out.”
“They didn’t want Trump to discover it and release it,” Rush continued. “They remain petrified for the next 12 days that Trump is going to release — somehow, someway — what he knows about these people. In other words, they’re worried to death that he’s got a card or two to play here yet, including the pardon power. They’ve got a lot of stuff to keep covered up.”
One might think that having one’s fealty to China out in the open might make one less likely to openly kowtow to the Middle Kingdom. Not so, in Biden’s case. The Chinese have all the details and documents and the recordings of Biden’s doings while in China. If you think there is no video of Hunter Biden engaged in questionable activities, I will contend you are willfully blind about Hunter Biden’s well-established nature. If The Big Guy crosses Xi, then Hunter goes to prison.
China will resume its aggressive activities in the South China Sea and against Taiwan and India. It will shield North Korea from any repercussions of its actions. It will return to the industrial-scale theft of US intellectual property. It will expand its use of slave labor to serve some US companies. It will continue to intimidate and corrupt Chinese nationals living or going to school in the US. Just as Ronald Reagan once demanded to speak because he was “paying for this microphone.”
As if that all wasn’t crazy enough, we got an example of how crazy it can still go, with today’s invocation to start the 117th Congress. The invocation was delivered by Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO). Cleaver is from the 5th District in Missouri and is a United Methodist pastor. But his ending put a capper on what Pelosi started.

A prayer opening the 117th Congress concluded, "Amen and a woman."
"Amen" translates to "so be it."
Trump kept his word on abortion, religious liberty, and the rule of law. The radicals running the Democratic Party have shown they'll do anything for power. //
Unlike four years ago, Trump is now a known political quantity. He has fought to keep his promises on the issues I care most about: abortion, religious liberty, and the rule of law. Meanwhile, the radicals running the Democratic Party have demonstrated that they will do anything for power — and that they view people like me as enemies to be punished and destroyed. //
It is nonetheless important to acknowledge the compromises of supporting Trump, especially for Christians whose idea of good character is very far from that the president often exhibits. But this does not require us to follow Never Trump writer David French, who recently scolded Christians who support Trump — how dare we vote for such a bad man!
French highlighted the civil rights movement as an ideal example of Christian political engagement. But the civil rights movement worked with and voted for some of the wickedest men to ever inhabit the White House. If the goal of civil rights for black Americans was worth working with Presidents John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson (whose respective adulteries, election fraud, and vulgarity, among other sins, are well known), civil rights for those in utero is worth working with President Trump. //
On everything from abortion to energy to health care, Biden is more radical than he was in 2008. The supposed moderation of the Biden-Harris ticket consists mostly of being friendlier to Wall Street and big business than the Bernie Sanders wing of the party. But left-wing corporatism is not centrism, it is just oligarchy with a veneer of social justice buzzwords.
Biden is the candidate of the rich and famous who incessantly criticize the United States but won’t say a word against the genocide being committed by the Chinese communists. He is the candidate for those who use the idea of free trade to require American workers to compete with Chinese slave labor. //
The blue-collar Democratic Party of yore is long gone. Biden is an empty vessel whose administration will be filled by the radical left. He will not return the country to normalcy, nor will he unite us, because the identity politics his party has embraced preclude unity. If you want a preview of Joe Biden’s America, look at what Democrats say; even more, look at what is happening in Democrat-controlled areas.
In Joe Biden’s America, taxpayers will fund abortion on demand until birth. In Joe Biden’s America, men will be allowed in every women-only sport, shelter, and locker room. In Joe Biden’s America, public school teachers will encourage students with gender identity issues to transition over parental objections (if they even tell the parents). In Joe Biden’s America, religious dissenters, even nuns, will be relentlessly harassed by the government.
In Joe Biden’s America, there will be blackouts as our energy infrastructure is intentionally crippled in the name of the environment. In Joe Biden’s America, the rioters, looters, and murderers who have taken over the streets in Democratic areas will have the tacit approval of the federal government. In Joe Biden’s America, the president will work to make China great again.
No, thank you. I’d rather have Trump.
Whether Biden seems actively pro-China, or merely weak on the communist country, his lack of position on China foreshadows a number of plausible crises.
By Madeline Osburn
All of these positions require Senate approval, and during the Obama years all of these people were in position to know a little -- or a lot -- about Joe Biden's ne'er-do-well tag-along son. //
China, Ukraine, tax fraud, corruption, and federal investigations. After a year of partisan attacks and obfuscations, media smears and derision, and Big Tech censorship and de-platformings, this week the Hunter Biden protection chamber finally collapsed. //
Nominees before the Senate will have the choice to claim ignorance, cop up to the grimy details, or try to push back. No matter which door they choose, they’ll face some very awkward questioning. //
Far from a game, there are potentially serious ramifications — and a serious investigation is needed.
The good news for Republicans — hardly an artistic bunch — is they don’t even have to write a script. The script has already been written for them.
The fact that Biden is being investigated in the District of Delaware means the case involves more than just tax issues. Tax Division attorneys, and the IRS Criminal Division Special Agents who investigate the cases, have very limited authority to bring non-tax charges. Cases that involve both potential tax crimes and other financial crimes are usually handled jointly — a combined effort of a Tax Division attorney and an Assistant United States Attorney in the district where there is venue for the charges. The fact that Biden announced that his attorney was contacted by the US Attorney for the District of Delaware confirms that this is a joint-investigation and that the investigation is based in Delaware.
That means that both the alleged tax charges and any other criminal charges are both properly venued in Delaware. //
The combination of this investigation and health considerations will lead to the resignation of Joe Biden from office. Health reasons will be the public explanation, but there is no way for Joe Biden to escape the web of criminal entanglements that Hunter Biden was involved in with the Chinese and others based on the information that became public prior to the election. I’m confident there is much more evidence than what has been seen.

HUNTER BIDEN.💻
The Senate report on Hunter Biden just dropped.
The damning report doesn't just "raise conflicts of interest concerns, they raise CRIMINAL, FINANCIAL, COUNTERINTELLIGENCE and EXTORTION concerns."
Alarming stuff about the Bidens' ties to Ukraine & China.
News reports last month claimed that in late 2019 the FBI had opened an investigation of matters related to information found on a laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden. Would the bureau continue its probe under a Biden administration? Doubtful. In fact, it’s unlikely there was ever any investigation at all.
Vichy Republican Robert Gates famously described Joe Biden as someone who “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” I think Gates was being kind. Whenever you find a national security debacle or foreign policy disaster in the past 40 years you will find the grinning Rain Man face of Joe Biden at the epicenter. He is a man whose Midas touch for disaster is only matched by his willingness to turn his official position into hard cash in the pockets of friends and family…with a 10% cut for “the big guy,” of course.
So while the media and official Washington were all ecstatically, in the words of the poet, “amusing themselves, abusing themselves, and rubbing it in their hair” at the thought of Joe Biden’s announcement that he’d chosen gray, establishment man Anthony Blinken as his Secretary of State, should he eventually be determined to be president (see Biden Reveals His Secretary of State Pick, and the Swooning Begins), David Harsanyi, writing at National Review takes a look at Blinken’s record and it looks like Blinken would be a perfect match for a Joe Biden administration. By the way, I’m cutting Harsanyi some slack here. It is pretty obvious that most of National Review’s staff was either actively fluffing for Biden or giving him aid and comfort by the direction of their coverage. //
Blinken was wrong about Israel, the Palestinians, and the prospects of peace. He was wrong about Iraq. Wrong on Iran. Wrong on Syria. Wrong on Russia. Wrong on Libya. Wrong on China. If you ever failed as much at your job, you wouldn’t have one. In Washington, you get to run the place. //

These people can’t represent America because they don’t understand America and they don’t like America and real Americans.
Trump made it clear he authorized her to cut the monies so there could be no doubt that nothing was hurt during a transition, so there would be no harm to the country by any delay, although he intended to continue his battle in the courts over the election.
That says a tremendous amount about the man and the way both sides have reacted also is very revealing.
Trump really didn’t have to authorize it until the Electoral College decided but he put America first to ensure the best for the country. It’s also clear he wants to protect his employees and remove them from the eye of the storm.
Democrats threatened a woman and her family to demand they be given power as soon as possible, even before officially declared by law.
So wait, tell me again, who is it that is breaking norms here? Who is it that is putting the country in danger?
Hint: it isn’t Trump.
“This disinformation campaign has done its job.”
Journalist and former CEO of The Intercept, Glenn Greenwald launched a well-deserved scorched-earth attack against CNN and other media outlets, top Democrat lawmakers, principally “shameless pathological liar” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and current and former members of the intelligence community, for dismissing as “Russian propaganda” the Hunter Biden laptop controversy in the days leading up to the presidential election.
In a piece published on Substack on Thursday, as reported by Fox News, Greenwald began by skewering the “shameless pathological liar,” noting that when Schiff’s mouth is moving, he’s lying. //
“As I noted when I announced my resignation from The Intercept, a major reason I harbored so much cynicism and scorn for their claim that my story on the Hunter Biden emails had failed to meet their high-minded, rigorous editorial and fact-checking scrutiny was because that same publication was just was one of the many anti-Trump news outlets which, in the name of manipulating the outcome of the election on behalf of the Democratic Party, had mindlessly laundered the CIA/Schiff narrative without the slightest adversarial skepticism or, worse, without a whiff of evidence.”
When the country transitioned to a voluntary military in 1973, about 1% of the population served on active duty. Today, it is less than one-half of 1%.
But perhaps we can take it further and say that the idea of compulsory service of any kind has personal meaning to fewer and fewer Americans.
This brings to mind the famous words of newly elected President John F. Kennedy in his inaugural address, on Jan. 20, 1961, 60 years before our next president will be administered the oath of office, in January 2021.
Kennedy said, “And so, my fellow Americans: Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: Ask not what America will do for you but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”
Reading over Kennedy’s words from that time, one can barely recognize the country he was speaking to. Nor is Kennedy’s Democratic Party, whose mantle he carried, recognizable compared with what it has become today.
