Android 5.x (Lollipop)/Android 6.x (Marshmallow) Steps
With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on.
Press the Volume Down key to highlight Recovery mode.
Press the Power key to restart into Recovery mode.
The screen will display an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
While holding down the Power key, press and release the Volume Up key, then release Power.
Use the volume keys to scroll to Wipe data/factory reset and press the Power key to select it.
Scroll down to Yes - erase all user data and press the Power key to select it.
Below are the steps for getting the Bug Report:
- Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build number 7 times on the build number to go into the developer options mode]
- After the above steps, Developer options will be enabled.
- Go to Settings ->Developer options -> Enable USB debugging > Toggle On
- Enable Settings -> Developer options -> Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On
- Enable Settings -> Developer options -> Enable Wi-Fi Verbose Logging > Toggle On
- Once the issue is reproduced, Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power down menu.
- Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
- Then upload the Bug Report to your personal Google Drive and then share the link to the Bug Report on the forums in a reply or via a private message.
- Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the Bug Report was taken. Please indicate the time that you observed the behavior in local time.
