Reason is no longer a viable tactic against the union cabal. It’s time for some brutal honesty, and honestly speaking, the Chicago Teachers Union is nothing more than the mafia dressed up as an advocacy group. The difference is that the traditional mafia didn’t take hits out on children; that was the one group of people that were off limits, because even the traditional mafia has some type of principle. The teachers unions are completely devoid of principles at this point. They are willing to take out an entire generation just to satisfy their own greed.
These criminals voted in the dead of night – on a school night – to cancel classes…immediately. Unsuspecting parents woke up to the news that there would be no school for their children on Wednesday. Talk about a punch to the gut. Happy New Year.
Teachers unions have thwarted the progress of our children around every corner. They have delayed their lives in service of their own whims. If America’s teachers are so frightened of a virus they’ve now all been vaccinated for, they need to quit. They are not entitled to their jobs if they aren’t willing to give our kids what they are entitled to – a decent public education.
Unions have destroyed education in the inner cities, gutted the graduation rates of minority students, and bribed our politicians to actively work against their employers – the people. They are no longer a service, they are a drain. They are evil and they have allowed the most vile, selfish, greedy among them to rise to the top and grow fat on the suffering of the students they claim to love.
It is time to disband the teachers unions. They are outdated. We no longer live in a world without protections for workers and even if we did, a public union is and always will be the antithesis of taxpayer representation. The horse and buggy was an incredibly needed invention, but when it was no longer needed America moved onward and upward and it has been a roaring success. Where would we be now if horse and buggy unions had succeeded in delaying the development of the combustible engine and demanded American taxpayers pay for their whips and wheels and medical care instead of investing in progressive solutions to travel?
The teachers unions have no interest in students. Our kids are dollar signs to them. They are not only useless, they are dangerous and if we have any hope of salvaging public education in America, we must end them.
“Deutsche Bank unveiled a new report Tuesday that said people who choose to work from home should be taxed 5% of their salary, with the revenue generated going to help people who cannot work from home.
“The report states a 5% ‘privilege’ tax could benefit workers who don’t have the opportunity to stay home.” //
This tax is another form of tyranny; a way for the government to dictate how your income can be spent, and to diminish the incentives for making the choice to work on your own. It’s a naked incursion on your economic freedom. //
It also punishes ingenuity and the ability to hustle. Independent work separates the worker bee from the drone. People who have (or want to have) the ability to further themselves, are the ones that think outside the box, and find creative ways to get and keep work on their terms; those that need the structure of time, place, and job description are cut from a different cloth. Both serve and contribute to the economy, and to the community. One should not be penalized for the benefit of the other.
This Privilege Tax, the PRO Act, and S.4378 only serve to reward and codify one model, and eliminate the other.
Mark my words: A Biden-Harris administration will work to restrict any form of business that does not involve Labor Union control, and these bills and proposals are the tools in their arsenal.
"Specifically, a war on the freedom to earn a living outside of an employer/employee relationship." //
Hopefully, Joe Biden was reading Rowe’s words. Biden spent Labor Day endorsing the PRO Act, which would take AB5 nationwide and repeal all state-based right-to-work laws, and promising to sign it into law if he wins the election.
Under union election rules, management of North Carolina's Mission Hospital can't promote its views within 24 hours of the start of mail-in balloting.
