A team of University of Arkansas physicists has successfully developed a circuit capable of capturing graphene's thermal motion and converting it into an electrical current
"An energy-harvesting circuit based on graphene could be incorporated into a chip to provide clean, limitless, low-voltage power for small devices or sensors," said Paul Thibado, professor of physics and lead researcher in the discovery.
The findings, published in the journal Physical Review E, are proof of a theory the physicists developed at the U of A three years ago that freestanding graphene—a single layer of carbon atoms—ripples and buckles in a way that holds promise for energy harvesting.
The idea of harvesting energy from graphene is controversial because it refutes physicist Richard Feynman's well-known assertion that the thermal motion of atoms, known as Brownian motion, cannot do work. Thibado's team found that at room temperature the thermal motion of graphene does in fact induce an alternating current (AC) in a circuit, an achievement thought to be impossible.
Verizon first launched the service in July.
Verizon (Engadget’s parent company) is expanding the availability of its LTE Home internet service to more rural areas across the US. After launching in July in select markets, it’s now available in “parts” of 189 markets across 48 states.
Current Verizon wireless subscribers can get the service for $40 a month — as long as they’re on a cellular plan that costs more than $30 per month. For those who don’t have an existing plan with the carrier, the service costs $60 per month with paperless billing and autopay.
Caffeine is no different and takes a certain amount of time to work through your system and be metabolized by your liver. One study showed that the half-life of caffeine in healthy adults is 5.7 hours (see source). This means if you consume 200 mg of caffeine at mid-day, you would still have 100 mg in you at around 5:45 pm.
As a congressman, Paul Ryan shamelessly ran cover for Trump. But in an interview with Politico’s Tim Alberta, the former House Speaker made it clear what he thought of the president.
BY ERIC LUTZ

Ryan makes clear in Alberta’s book that he knew Trump to be an unqualified jackass. In one anecdote, the House Speaker receives an early-morning phone call from then-chief of staff Reince Priebus asking him to read a tweet the president had just fired off.
“Terrible!” Trump wrote. “Just found out that [Barack Obama] had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”
The tweet, offered without proof or basis in reality, sent Ryan into “maniacal, punch-drunk laughter,” according to Alberta. This behind-the-scenes Ryan hardly squares with the public Ryan, who repeatedly came to the president’s defense and downplayed his maddening Twitter addiction. “I actually don't pay that much attention to it,” Ryan once said of the president’s incessant shitposting.

With all due respect to ROMEG, hate is a good thing.
No doubt, Charles Martel had hate in his heart in 732 when he faced 90,000 Islamic radicals at Tours and thankfully, wiped the floor with them.
I hate Andrew Weissmann and hope he goes to jail and when he dies - burns in hell. The man knowingly, with pre meditated, Mens rae, criminal intent pursued actions against a duly elected president that were created, ex nihilo, out of whole cloth in order to illegally remove him from office,
Prior to that, he and Mueller pursued and got convictions of innocent people who died in jail.
Read Sidney Powell's book, "Licensed To Lie" and weep, weep for the innocent people he has destroyed and has literally murdered. His reward for malfeasance? Promotions and a special place in the hearts and minds of Progressives who hate the Rule Of Law and see his "Ends Justify The Means", application of Star Chamber law enforcement as noble.
He suborned perjury, jailed innocent people, lied, obfuscated the truth, destroyed records and withheld "Brady Material" (As he and Christopher Wray and a legion of dishonest bureaucrats are still, at the very moment doing.) that would have exonerated the accused.
He is the existential example of an out of control, psychotic "Commander Queeg" whose power, if left unchecked annihilates the vulnerable people he is supposed to, as a prosecutor, protect.
The absolute categorical truth, is, that he should be lined up, in front a wall and executed before lunch today.
DopaBoost produced by Designs for Health is a brain supplement designed to increase the body’s natural production of dopamine, one of the body’s primary catecholamines. Dopamine is essential for the normal functioning of the central nervous system and is associated with attention, learning, movement, balance, and mood regulation.
Your maximum safe limit of caffeine is 449mg per day.
*Applies to age 18 and over. This calculator does not replace professional medical advice (disclaimer).
A safe caffeine limit is the amount of caffeine a person can consume without experiencing any negative caffeine overdose symptoms.
It’s difficult to assign an exact amount for everyone because people can have different sensitivities or reactions to caffeine based on age, medical history, and tolerance.
why are so many of us emotionally devastated by the death of a celebrity? Some people even mourn the deaths of celebrities or well-known figures more than they do a close relative or friend. Perhaps our society has become so infatuated with the characters created by these “influential” people that we genuinely feel they’re a part of our lives.
Therein lies the problem.
Many Americans have come to value unknown “influencers” more than their family members because they’ve become conditioned to hold celebrities and people of power to untenable heights as if they were demigods worthy of infinite praise.
As a result, who could dare mourn these loved ones equally to or with more significant pain than the loss of a beloved icon? To put it frankly, what have our loved ones done to impact culture or the world?
People will take off from work, seek counseling, and buy expensive souvenirs all to salute their idol, but what about the everyday idols and heroes within our families? Are they too not worthy of the same praise, if not greater? Should they not be elevated for their direct contribution to our lives and our familial experiences?
Family and community are established organically and over time. The networks that we create through the interpersonal and multifaceted webs should absolutely trump this celebrity worship. Reinforcing these strange relationships only degrades the unique and authentic intimacy tied to personal loss or tragedy.
There must be a deep sense of emptiness within man that we permit the deepest aspects of the human heart to be relegated to absolute strangers. //
Society’s current reversal of these suggests a breakdown of our familial structure, which points to an even more concerning breakdown of our society because the family structure builds strong character. The collapse in this moral character further weakens community structures, and which collectively weakens our once strong nation.
The future of America rests on this.
Watergate and Nuremberg — got that?
Hitler and Nixon — follow his thinking?
The inception of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation was as a counterintelligence matter seeking to understand if — and how — the Russian government might seeking to interfere in the 2016 election process. The “Counter” in “Counterintelligence” is the important part of the term. The goal of the investigative effort is to “Counter” it — to stop it. To determine if it is happening, and then take steps to intervene and put a halt to it.
But that wasn’t Weissmann’s view of the SCO’s purpose. The SCO was a “Hunter-Killer” squad. They had a mission. Donald Trump won the election. He could not have done so without Russian help. As a result the outcome of the election had to be overturned. “Get Trump” was the unspoken motto, and it was the unwritten goal. //
A crusading bully handed power while untethered to any obligation beyond his personalized notion of “truth” — that it is whatever he thinks it needs to be to accomplish his purpose.
Failure is not evidence of his error at the outset — failure is evidence of others preventing him from being recognized as being right. //

DopaBoost™ is designed to support the body’s natural production of dopamine, one of the body’s primary catecholamines. Dopamine is essential for the normal functioning of the central nervous system and is associated with attention, learning, movement, balance, and mood regulation. The primary ingredient in DopaBoost™ is Mucuna pruriens, a botanical which naturally contains L-Dopa, the metabolic precursor to dopamine which can cross the blood-brain barrier. Additional ingredients include EGCg (epigallocatechin gallate), acetyl-L-tyrosine, quercetin and vitamin B6, all selected for their synergistic roles in the production and regulation of dopamine.
there’s a reason Democrats are panicking. They were reminded all over again Tuesday of what Trump did in the 2016 debates. He bought up issues about his opponent that he knew moderators wouldn’t. He kept on talking and trying to fact check his opponent because he knew the moderator would otherwise give him a pass, as happened numerous times Tuesday night.
Also, people who believe their candidate “won” a debate don’t typically go around advocating that they no longer participate in future debates or for moderators to have the ability to cut their opponent’s mic.
