YouTube Is Now Blocking US Senate Hearings Because They Don't Like What Is Being Said

After the hearing video was posted on YouTube, this Alphabet (Google)-owned enterprise acted to take down the videos. //

The censors at YouTube have decided for all of us that the American public shouldn’t be able to hear what senators heard. Apparently, they are smarter than medical doctors who have devoted their lives to science and use their skills to save lives. They have decided there is only one medical viewpoint allowed, and it is the viewpoint dictated by government agencies. Government-sanctioned censorship of ideas and speech should frighten us all. //

The left is on the march, and they taste victory. They are so sure of their victory that Senate hearings can be memory-holed, and not a single Democrat cares. //

Who Does Biden Benefit With XL Pipeline Rejection?

But Biden apparently doesn’t care, likely forcing “[r]efiners in the Midwest and the Gulf Coast…to buy more oil from adversarial states like Russia and Venezuela.”

Senator Bill Cassidy Shows Us What Is Wrong With the GOP Establishment

Over and over, throughout my adult life, the GOP has treasured appearances over action and principle. The last four years were the only hiatus in this behavior since the last half of the Reagan administration. Time and again, the old-guard GOP figures throw some red-meat and platitudes but, when push comes to shove, they vote the way most likely to get them a favorable mention on the op-ed pages (and news pages in this time of a partisan and fact-free press) of the New York Times and Washington Post. The right thing to do, even the easy thing to do, in this case, was to vote to not turn American politics into Third World blood sport politics by hunting down and punishing people who lost an election…and make no mistake, that is exactly where we are headed (see Donald Trump Is Now Under Criminal Investigation in Georgia) and with predictable results.

Now that President Trump is off center stage, the porkers are free to head back to the trough. They will give lip service to the plight of working-class America, they will cluck sympathetically at the horrendous spectacle of one in every four US pregnancies ending in abortion, they will talk about securing the border, and they will do absolutely nothing about those issues. They didn’t before President Trump. They did so reluctantly while he was in office. And now that President Trump is gone, we’re back to what Cassidy’s constituents would say “laissez les bon temps rouler.”

'Canceling' The Mandalorian's Gina Carano for Republican-Jewish Analogy Only Proves Her Point

This is what Carano wrote in a social media post:

Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors… even by children.

“Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”

And to show just how much they don’t “hate” Carano’s political views, the left lobbied Disney to have her fired.

Descendants of the Women Who Played 'Aunt Jemima' Not Happy With the Brand Change

A lot of people don’t know that the brand was based upon the faces and/efforts of real women. Among those women were Nancy Green, Anna Harrington and Lillian Richard. Their family members were concerned that the removal of the picture and changing the name they further erase the real contributions of their family members who helped to make the brand. //

So rather than the silly name that the company picked trying to be woke, how about actually recognizing the real people involved? Maybe actually recognizing them on the bottle and giving the families some residuals from that?
