Hydroelectric turbines for green, decentralized, off-grid living.
We develop cost-effective hydropower plants for that can be installed in any river, canal or waterway that has a drop between 1.5 - 5 m. You can generate electricity using an individual turbine or a network of multiple turbines for higher energy demands, all designed for durability and low maintenance.
The two companion bills—HF 590 and SF 413—would shorten the state’s early vote period by nine days, shorten Election Day hours and would limit each Iowa county to one ballot drop box. The bill would also prohibit counties from mailing voters absentee ballot request forms unless they are explicitly requested and requires mail ballots be received by Election Day. Currently, ballots mailed before Election Day can be counted if they are received by the following Monday.
This is being framed as “voter suppression” because these measures ensure that the only voters on election day are actual human beings who are entitled to vote in Iowa.
I’m very much a traditionalist when it comes to voting. If voting is not important enough to you to show up at your designated polling place on Election Day, with picture identification you probably shouldn’t have a say in who gets elected. If you know you won’t be able to make it to the polling place, you need to request, in writing, with a verified signature, an absentee ballot.
My personal view is that “early voting” is a travesty that serves no real purpose but to destroy the impact of Election Day as a civic duty and tell fraudsters how many absentee votes they need to harvest. //
Justice Thomas correctly observed:
One wonders what this court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us. //
My suspicion is that on the eve of the next election an activist judge will rewrite the rules making this bill an exercise in futility. No higher court will intervene. Another election will be corrupted. And all because that the message that elections are just too damned important to be left to the voters must be hammered home at every opportunity.
Economist James K. Galbraith said policymakers failed Texas during the state's recent power outage.
Texas' deregulated electrical system incentivized the cheapest production without accounting for resilient machinery.
Galbraith says the only way to fix the system is to turn it into a public utility.
Roughly three dozen House Democrats have sent a letter to Joe Biden urging him to relinquish sole control of the nation’s nuclear launch codes, citing “real risks” that could lead to a rogue launch or an accidental nuclear war, according to reports. //
“While any president would presumably consult with advisors before ordering a nuclear attack, there is no requirement to do so. The military is obligated to carry out the order if they assess it is legal under the laws of war. Under the current posture of U.S. nuclear forces, that attack would happen in minutes.” //
In a segment on Australia’s Sky News last Friday, commentator Cory Bernardi said what half of America has been saying since Biden became the Democrat nominee.
“Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised. It’s clear to me at the least that U.S. President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.
“This was apparent to many during the election campaign, but such was the hatred for Donald Trump by the partisan and poisonous mainstream media, they chose to fail to highlight anything that might have derailed a Biden victory.”
“It’s all rather pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media. They believe every perceived sin of Donald Trump while they seem intent on canonizing St. Joe.”
Much of the potential of the battolyser has been hiding in plain sight, ever since Thomas Edison first began experimenting with his nickel-iron battery at the turn of the 20th Century. He may have been wrong in believing his battery would supplant the other vehicles on the road. But the nickel-iron battery may yet play a role in replacing fossil fuels more broadly, by helping hasten the transition to renewables.
As bitter partisans and Democrat Party sycophants, the White House press corps is a joke – and has been for years. The legacy media commentators and contributors on network news are perhaps even worse. We have watched over four years of attacks and slander on a political outsider president. We have watched them cover the lies and perfidy of the political class and Deep State while throwing ridiculous, misleading, and misinformed questions at President Trump at every turn. Interviews with Democrats are filled with inanities and softball questions; no difficult questions are ever asked of these people – whether Democrats, RINOs, or members of the Deep State. Can’t ask anything that might embarrass them, don’t ya know?
The P2V Neptune series of aircraft was one of the more successful post-war designs for America, with service that spanned decades for a handful of American-friendly countries. The system was designed by Lockheed Corporation from the outset as a land-based maritime patrol and reconnaissance platform. The system proved so versatile and effective, that the base production model spawned a large series of variants in specialized roles.
The P2V Neptune was a twin engine high-wing monoplane design. Sporting various Wright-brand powerplants throughout its production run, the aircraft featured outstanding range. A most identifiable feature being the single large rudder on the empennage, though the overall gangly design of the nose was another memorable feature. The Neptune split time between the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, though it is widely remembered for its service with the Navy branch.
The Neptune got its start as early as 1944, where two XP2V-1 prototypes are delivered with 15 production P2V-1 models.
One chart presented at the meeting shows Texas was less than five minutes away from a blackout that might have crippled the power system for weeks or months.
Magness expressed frustration at the meeting about how long it took to bring some power plants back online. The graphs shared Wednesday showed for days many were not able to re-start and that's what turned this into such a devastating crisis with lives lost and homes damaged.
One board member criticized Magness, saying he did not do enough to warn the board of the possibility of a crisis before the storm hit. //
As NBC 5 Investigates first reported, ERCOT’s audio recordings show Magness spent less than one minute discussing the impending storm at the last board meeting just five days before the storm arrived //
A fifth ERCOT board member resigned Wednesday, joining four others who announced their resignations Tuesday saying they wanted to avoid controversy over the fact that they live in other states.

On one hand, COVID continues to spread because of COVID law disobedience.
On the other, flu disappears because NPI compliance is so high.
🙄
Not a single case of flu detected in England this year
independent.co.uk //
It appears that the window for detecting the flu using the standard PCR-type test is incredibly small.
Hence, if the huge influx of COVID-19 tests labs have been dealing with caused any kind of delay in how quickly influenza tests were processed, that by itself could easily explain why basically all of the latter are coming back negative. //
All the more so given that, for some reason, the COVID-19 PCR tests appear to be plagued with the opposite problem of yielding positive results long after the infection has passed.

Wow. The BidenBucks bill pays federal employees up to 15 weeks of paid leave at $1400 per week if they have to stay home to virtual school kids.
You get $1400 once. They get it every week for 15 weeks. Swamp takes care of swamp.

All you regular peons out there who live in school districts that are still closed are on your own. Biden isn’t going to lift a finger to push them to open because he’s scared of the teachers unions. You just have to figure things out. But if you work for Biden’s federal government, the payoff is massive. You get paid at $5600 a month for a third of a year to just chill and start up your kid’s zoom sessions. That’s well above the average income in the private sector, mind you. I’m not sure there’s been a bigger show of elitism in Washington in the past decade, and there’s been a lot of shows of elitism.
American Airlines and Delta Air Lines have taken two very different approaches to the pandemic.
Delta has been blocking middle seats since April 2020 while American never embraced the policy.
I took three flights on both airlines in 2021 to see how the two were handling social distancing in the skies.
You see, the “cages” that the left so wailed about under Trump were really chain link fencing that served as initial holding in detention facilities. The press continually used Obama-era pictures of said facilities to go after the Trump administration in one of the greater bits of media dishonesty we’ve seen in the last decade. The realities of the situation were eschewed for partisan gain, as if CBP and ICE could just release children onto the street and tell them to figure it out.
But here’s the kicker — the facilities now being re-opened under Biden were built under Trump. Therefore, in order for a fact-checker to note that the conditions have improved under Biden, they’d have to admit that it was Trump who actually improved the conditions while also revealing it was Obama who so badly screwed them up in the first place.
Regardless, the children are no less detained than they were before. Tents and shipping containers with barred windows are hardly a bastion of freedom, though the optics are slightly better, I suppose. Yet, there’s some serious poetic justice in the Biden administration having to now own criticism for what they formerly used as a political cudgel.
