How to Fix “SSH Too Many Authentication Failures” Error
thumbnail

Sometimes, while trying to connect to remote systems via SSH, you may encounter the error “Received disconnect from x.x.x.x port 22:2: Too many authentication failures”. In this short article, I will explain how to fix this error in a few simple steps.

I discovered that this resulted from existence of many ssh identity keys on my machine, and each time I run the ssh client, it would try all my ssh keys known by the ssh-agent and all other keys, when attempting to connect to the remote server (vps2 as shown in the above screenshot). This is the default behavior of ssh.

Since ssh server (sshd) on the remote server expects a particular identity key, the server rejects the connection and ssh client aborts with the above error.

To fix this error, you need to add the IdentitiesOnly with a value of yes, which instructs ssh to only use the authentication identity files specified on the command line or the configured in the ssh_config file(s), even if ssh-agent offers additional identities.

'60 Minutes' Doubles Down on Its Outrageous Attack on Ron DeSantis, They Get Busted Again by Dems – RedState

'60 Minutes' Doubles Down on Its Outrageous Attack on Ron DeSantis, They Get Busted Again by Dems

As we previously reported, CBS News’ “60 Minutes” deceptively edited a video clip of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responding to an accusation of a pay for play deal with Publix over the vaccine rollout. DeSantis explained why that was nonsense, but the show then ran a clip eliminating almost his entire explanation as well as running other false insinuations.

Publix and even Democrats called out the ’60 Minutes’ fake narrative.

Ron DeSantis completely shredded them on Tucker Carlson’s show and in another statement yesterday.

DeSantis made it clear that they weren’t going to get away with it, “I’m punching back.”

At this point, ’60 Minutes’ should have just apologized and slunk away. But it seems that they have no morals, so they’re doubling down.

Apparently it’s everyone else in this story including the Democrats who are wrong, according to 60 Minutes.

But the Democrat Division of Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz was having none of this, pointing out, yet again how he told 60 Minutes the Publix story was untrue, but they didn’t care.

Moskowitz had previously explained that they reached out to all the pharmacies but that Publix was the only one who could execute on the mission at that point. He also explained that Publix was not recommended by the Governor’s office.

Moskowitz reiterated that that CBS failed to include that it was a decision made by his office, according to Fox.

When asked by Fox News if he thought “60 Minutes” “appreciated his perspective” on the vaccine rollout, Moskowitz replied, “Did you see the perspective that the person in charge of the Covid response told them how Publix was selected in their agency and that the contribution story was garbage?

“They ran with pay to play, when I told them it was done by my agency and why and how. Did you see that perspective?” Moskowitz added.

Democratic Palm Beach Mayor David Kerner had also flamed the 60 Minutes piece calling it intentionally false.

COVID vaccine side effects study: Rashes, skin reactions not dangerous

Getting COVID-19 can cause all manner of odd skin reactions. A new study finds some of them, including COVID toes, a measles-like rash and shingles also can be rare, and thankfully brief, side effects of getting the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines.

The minor, though sometimes itchy and annoying, reactions were seen in a database of 414 cases of delayed skin problems linked to the vaccines and reported to health care professionals. The cases were collected between December and February before the Johnson & Johnson vaccine had been authorized, so it was not included.

None caused a life-threatening reaction, a finding the study's senior author Dr. Esther Freeman found reassuring.

“People can get full-body rashes, and that can be surprising and a little scary, but these patients did extremely well, recovered and were able to go back and get their second dose,” said Freeman, director of global health dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The Time Has Come for Reasonable Americans to Stand up and Draw a Line in the Sand – RedState

The trickle is starting but we need to create a roaring river, a current of good sense. It is time to put diplomacy on pause. It has its place, and for those of us still engaged in public debate and discussion, we should never completely abandon it. Persuasion is a vital part of winning any culture war. There is value in walking softly, but sometimes persuasion can only be made palatable to the other side by carrying a big stick.

So draw your line. Decide where it is. It won’t be the same for all of us. //

Your line will be different from my line and that’s ok. The battle has many fronts. But it’s important to understand this:

The quiet season is over. We are in a noisy season. Grab a bullhorn and start screaming. //

Churchill had it right. True then. True now.

"If you will not fight for right when you can win easily without bloodshed. . .you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."

Florida Dem claims he told CBS DeSantis-Publix story was 'bulls---'; producer says info used 'on background' | Fox News

According to the emails obtained by Fox News, Beatrice then requested Zill de Granados and Gordon interview Moskowitz, who she said was available that day and Friday to do an interview either in a studio or by Skype.

The "60 Minutes" producer replied that they had requested an on-the-record interview with Moskowitz "repeatedly" since February and claimed that he had not responded to messages since mid-March.

DeSantis' office stressed that it was "important" for CBS News to interview Moskowitz and Palm Beach County Mayor David Kerner, who Zill de Granados said was not responsive to inquiries.

"Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, the deadline has passed," Zill de Granados told Beatrice on Thursday afternoon. "As you may know, the Covid pandemic makes our interview protocol much more complicated and time-consuming due to new distancing and testing requirements for correspondents and camera crews." //

However, that standard appeared not to apply to Florida State Rep. Omari Hardy, a DeSantis critic who "60 Minutes" correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi interviewed remotely.

"Luckily, we have already spoken to Director Moskowitz several times," Zill de Granados continued. "We appreciate his perspective on the roll out in Florida. We have included the information he provided on background as it pertains to this story". Zill de Granados also noted that Moskowitz had been asked to do on-camera interviews on Feb. 28 and March 12.

When asked by Fox News if he thought "60 Minutes" "appreciated his perspective" on the vaccine rollout, Moskowitz replied, "Did you see the perspective that the person in charge of the Covid response told them how Publix was selected in their agency and that the contribution story was garbage?

"They ran with pay to play, when I told them it was done by my agency and why and how. Did you see that perspective?" Moskowitz added.

Tucker Carlson Ends Republican Arkansas Governor's Career During Interview on Transgender Bill Veto – RedState

If a GOP politician can’t stand up to prevent physical abuse of children, then that person doesn’t have any business being a Republican at all. //

I believe Hutchinson is term-limited for governor in Arkansas, but if he had any aspirations of jumping to the Senate, those are over. His career was effectively ended during this interview. //

Rachel Bovard
@rachelbovard
Hutchinson making a totally straight faced appeal to the "limited government principles" of Reagan and Buckley as a justification for allowing children to chemically castrate themselves show you how just how intellectually hollow the the GOP has become. //

What’s so nuts about Hutchinson’s reasoning is that he’s effectively making a pro-abortion argument. If he believes that he can’t involve his state in certain “medical” procedures, he’s endorsing the excuse given by the left to justify killing children in the womb. Further, what he’s saying is nonsense anyway. The state absolutely has a duty to protect kids in society and already does so on a variety of levels. By Hutchinson’s logic, why have child labor laws? Why have child abuse laws at all? Preventing children from being shot up with hormone blockers and chemically castrated is not government overreach. It’s common sense, and it’s completely consistent with being a conservative.

But Hutchinson thinks you’re an idiot, which is why he tries to hide behind the ghost of Ronald Reagan.

Nuclear heating: A low-cost, greener option?

A team of scientists has come up with a radical solution to heat cities using spent nuclear rods, which they say is cost-effective and greener than natural gas. As the EU moves away from coal, many are interested.

UAE's first nuclear unit starts commercial operation : New Nuclear - World Nuclear News

Barakah unit 1 entered commercial operation today, the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) has announced. The unit, which is operated by Nawah Energy Company, has been the single largest electricity generator in the UAE since reaching 100% power in early December. ENEC said the 1400-megawatt unit, which is in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi, is now providing "constant, reliable and sustainable electricity around the clock". //

The Barakah nuclear power plant, which is being built by a consortium led by the Korea Electric Power Corporation, consists of four APR-1400 units. Construction of the plant began in 2012. Unit 2 has now completed the fuel loading process and is working through all of the required processes prior to start-up, which is scheduled for later this year. Construction of units 3 and 4 are 94% and 89% complete, respectively.

Part I - Have Americans Needlessly Died from the ChiCom Virus? – RedState

Dr. Ryan Cole, MD, who is a member of the Independent Doctors of Idaho (IDID). He gave a presentation a couple of weeks ago on behalf of Idaho Lieutenant Governor Janice McGeachin’s Capitol Clarity initiative, which contains some amazing information and perspective about the overall misguided response to the virus in the US-led by the “government experts.” //

Here are some key points from Dr. Cole’s video presentation that focus on immune system health. As you read these points, ask yourself why none have been repeatedly hammered home by the likes of Fauci and other government public health “experts” over the past year:

Public health messaging about the virus has been completely wrong
Coronaviruses are seasonal and follow a 6-9 month lifecycle (the pandemic is virtually over in almost all states in the US)
The average age of COVID-related deaths is 78.6 years; the average age of death in the US due to all causes is 78.6 years (we gave stopped society and the economic for something that attacks people who are already at death-risk age)
The highest risk factors are advanced age, obesity, and low vitamin D
The virus is fragile and is inactivated by sunlight and ventilation (wearing masks outside is insanity; no super-spreader events have happened outdoors; all have been indoor events)
There is no such thing as a “cold and flu season”; there is only a low vitamin D season (totally unreported by government public health institutions including the CDC and NIH)
Vitamin D is the master key to the human immune system; if one has a D level of 50 nanograms per milliliter, one cannot develop a “cytokine storm,” which is the killing mechanism associated with COVID
70-80% of Americans are vitamin D deficient, including 82-88% of nursing home patients (!), 83% of African Americans, 72% of Latino Americans, and 47% of Caucasian Americans
80% of all hospitalized patients and 96% of ICU patients are vitamin D deficient
D deficiency is immune suppression/dysregulation (meaning, if you are D deficient, you are much more susceptible to the virus – and other pathogens)
The best mask of all is a healthy immune system, which requires a sufficiency of vitamin D
For six winter months of the year above 35 degrees north latitude (the northern half of the US), people cannot synthesize vitamin D from the sun; a vitamin D3 supplement is required to maintain the appropriate level to avoid being “immune system suppressed”
Normal D levels also decrease the incidence of colon, breast, thyroid, and other cancers, as well as depression and suicide (8 of 10 of the states with the highest suicide rates in the US are in the northern tier of states)
80% of Americans are deficient in magnesium, which is a critical cofactor for vitamin D function (supplements are required)
70% of Americans are deficient in zinc, which also directly affects immune system health
Obesity drastically reduces the ability to get vitamin D into the body because it is fat-soluble
Most physicians do not understand the criticality of vitamin D to the immune system
Healthy D levels reduce susceptibility to COVID by 90% (many studies around the world)
The darker the skin, the more difficult to synthesize vitamin D (explains higher COVID death rates for blacks and Latinos, NOT social circumstance!)
Dr. Fauci mentioned in passing in a November 2020 interview that he takes 8,000-9,000 units of D supplements per day, yet there is no national public health message advising Americans to do the same (he understands the personal impact of the science but chooses not to propagate a simple life-saving supplement to others!)
Cutting out sugar, processed foods, and carbs is the next best COVID preventative after vitamin D supplements because they are all inflammatory (as is general obesity, which is an inflammatory state of being), making the human body more susceptible to the virus (and other pathogens)
Supplements to bolster the immune system, and dietary changes to deal with obesity. Who knew? How many Americans are aware of the above points made by Dr. Cole? How many lives could have been saved through a massive public health messaging effort at the beginning of the pandemic last year that emphasized the taking of inexpensive vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc supplements in order to bolster the immune systems of at-risk Americans? Or saved through messaging on the critical virus risk factor of obesity and the need to eliminate sugars and processed food from one’s diet and lose weight accordingly?

Can You Catch Fish in the Suez Canal? | MeatEater Fishing

The giant container ship “Ever Given” was stuck sideways in the Suez Canal for nearly a week, providing endless fodder for news outlets and meme creators. But the piscatorially-minded among us had only one question on our collective minds during this debacle: If we were stuck on a 1,300-foot-long boat run aground in the desert, could we at least catch fish while we wait?
