How To Opt Out Of The Expanded Child Tax Credit In 72 Easy Steps

This was my actual experience attempting to opt out of the monthly welfare payments that have the potential to wreak havoc with our family’s year-end tax bill. //

We hold these truths to be contradictorily evident: Requiring proof of identification for the sake of voting privilege is an overwhelming burden. Requiring proof of identification to log onto the IRS website for the sake of opting out from the expanded child tax credit is a mere necessity.

By “proof of identification,” the IRS has some hefty standards in mind. What follows is, I do solemnly aver, not made up. This was my actual experience attempting to opt out of the monthly welfare payments that have the potential to wreak havoc with our family’s year-end tax bill.

A.U.D.I.T. of Elections: Michigan Needs a Forensic Audit Bigly – RedState

Funny how not a single RNC lawyer was involved in any of the post-election lawsuits on behalf of President Trump, and the likes of McDaniel, Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY), and other “top Republicans” have been silent about election fraud even after the AZ senate hearing that dropped bombshells last week. //

One of the critical deficiencies highlighted by DePerno is the ability of the election workers “to set the time on a tabulator at any time in order to print paper tapes that show the appropriate date/time stamp. The technician/supervisor password enables the workers to have this capability.” This is a significant issue because an election worker can potentially run extra ballots without detection “outside of the election window or after hours” to create ballots to produce a desired number of votes.

It seems the DePerno team has also found “duplicate matching ballot indexes.” DePerno stated, “It gets worse, people. Based on a review of the Antrim County results, it indicates duplicate matching ballot indexes—which is evidence of ballot stuffing and fraud.” While they are still studying the evidence, he explained that “this means there were ballots fed into the system more than once—repeatedly.” This issue showed up in the Antrim County election to the tune of 1,060 potential fraudulent phantom votes that showed up in the hand recount according to DePerno and do not match the records held by Secretary of State Benson. //

Here is an excerpt from an election night county-by-county analysis of voter registration trends in Michigan by Seth Keshel that provides ample rationale for a state-wide audit. Recommend reading the entire analysis report here.

The consistent characteristic in the shift in Michigan’s political landscape is the declining Democratic Party raw vote totals, and the increasing Republican totals. Thus far, according to the Decision Desk unofficial vote tally, President Trump is substantially adding to his vote totals in every Michigan County, while his opponent adds votes at a greater percentage, often in counties that have trended steadily away from Democrats since at least 2008.

All counties showing two consecutive cycles of inverse party trend (Republican up twice, Democrat down twice), with Democrats substantially up this year, may be subject to counting errors, or “glitches,” like those reported in Antrim County. These voting machines and their associated software should be audited and examined by coding professionals, especially if the recent newsworthy events regarding corrupted voting software are widespread. //

According to the official results, there were ZERO write-in votes for that precinct. It is also pretty strange that Biden got 95% of the votes in that district. This table is for the entire city of Detroit. There were no write-in votes for any and all races in the Detroit results. That means adjudication was not being used (as Kaminsky realized after the election). //

The official election results transmission from Michigan reveals that a vote spike of 149,772 total votes — 135,290 or 95% of them for Biden and 5,968 votes (4%) for Trump — occurred approximately 3 hours after the delivery of votes (6:30 AM) on November 4, 2021. This is the single most anomalous data point in the 2020 election.

New molten salt battery for grid-scale storage runs at low temp and cost

Molten salt batteries shape as a more cost-effective solution, which use electrodes kept in a molten state with the help of high temperatures. This is something that the Sandia scientists have been working to change. //

"We've been working to bring the operating temperature of molten sodium batteries down as low as physically possible," says Leo Small, the lead researcher on the project. "There's a whole cascading cost savings that comes along with lowering the battery temperature. You can use less expensive materials. The batteries need less insulation and the wiring that connects all the batteries can be a lot thinner."

In their commercial form, these batteries are known as sodium-sulfur batteries, and a few of these have been developed around the world but generally operate at 520 to 660 °F (270 to 350 °C). The Sandia team have set their sights much lower, although doing so required a rethink as the chemistries that work at high temperatures don't lend themselves well to lower temperatures.

The scientists' design consists of liquid sodium metal that sits on the opposite side of a ceramic separator material to a novel liquid mixture made of sodium iodide and gallium chloride, which the scientists call a catholyte. When the battery discharges energy, chemical reactions take place that produces sodium ions and electrons that pass through the highly-selective separator material and produce molten iodide salt on the other side. //

This sodium-sulfur battery proved capable of operating at just 230 °F (110 °C), and proved its worth across eight months of testing in the lab through which it was charged and discharged more than 400 times. Further, it runs at 3.6 volts, which the scientists say is around 40 percent higher than commercially available molten salt batteries. This could equate to versions with fewer cells and therefore a higher energy density.

Children Deserve To Be Born For Love, Not Welfare Payments

How could our society be so callous to children as to make them the link to welfare payments? Do people know what it feels like to grow up in a relationally chaotic home? //

Democrats are announcing defeat in their half-century “War on Poverty.” They’re just too good at propaganda to put it that way. Instead, they’re taking to mouthpiece outlets like The Atlantic to gush over the latest expansion of the United States’ social welfare state: monthly checks to parents taken through federal deficits straight from their kids’ futures. //

The Atlantic article exists to amplify naive excitement about this program, but it is in reality an announcement of despair. Democrats are admitting their socialist welfare state doesn’t work and they have no effective ideas for addressing the fact that Americans have spent more than $28 trillion on welfare since 1965, yet at least the same proportion of Americans is considered poor today as when the “war” started.

“[T]he War on Poverty has cost the taxpayers nearly three and a half times the combined cost of all military wars in U.S. history,” notes a different Heritage analysis. Not only can Washington not win real wars anymore, Washington can’t win pretend wars, either. So the party of unlimited entitlement is just openly admitting their new plan is… throwing taxpayer money out the window.

Economist Veronique de Rugy notes that the last time the United States promoted mass welfare detached from work, it made children the worst off: Before 1996, “we also had welfare payments with no work requirement. The result was that nearly 9 in 10 families on welfare were workless, unwed births rose significantly, and most of these families were stuck in long-term poverty, creating a trend in intergenerational child poverty. That cycle was broken with the 1996 reforms requiring welfare recipients to work or prepare for work. The great news is that this led to a historic reduction of child poverty.”

She further writes that if Biden’s “guaranteed income for kids” is extended, “we’re at risk of repeating the mistakes of the past by increasing the number of single-parent families in which no one is employed and reversing the gains the nation has made since the welfare reforms of the 1990s—all at great cost to taxpayers.”

It is imperative to understand that programs like this are perhaps the single greatest cause of misery to American children, because they unequivocally increase family chaos. Social welfare programs effectively subsidize family separation. Democrats have been silent about their policies working to separate American children from their parents for more than a century.

Paying people to pop out children with no attention to the circumstances such children will be born into will cause living nightmares for the weakest among us.

Google just upgraded the Android backup system without telling anyone | Android Central

  • Backups by Google One is replacing your existing Android system backup method.
  • This update is rolling out to many Android phones and will happen in the background.
  • Backed-up items now include MMS, photos, videos, wallpapers, several system settings, and more.
  • You do not need to be a Google One subscriber to use this service.
What’s the Diff: 3-2-1 vs. 3-2-1-1-0 vs. 4-3-2

When it comes to having a backup plan, Navy SEALs go by the rule that “Two is one and one is none.” They’re not often one-upped, but in the world of computer backup, even two is none. The gold standard until recently has been the 3-2-1 rule—three copies of your data on two different media with one copy stored off-site. //

Cloud backups are sometimes tied to a company’s active directory, and they’re often not virtually isolated from a company’s production network. //

As emerging technology has changed the way backup strategies are implemented, the core principles of a 3-2-1 backup strategy still hold up:

You should have multiple copies of your data.
Copies should be geographically distanced.
One or more copies should be readily accessible for quick recoveries in the event of a physical disaster or accidental deletion.
But, they need to account for an additional layer of protection: One or more copies should be physically or virtually isolated in the event of a digital disaster like ransomware that targets all of their data, including backups. //

What Is 3-2-1-1-0?
A 3-2-1-1-0 strategy stipulates that you:

  • Maintain at least three copies of business data.
  • Store data on at least two different types of storage media.
  • Keep one copy of the backups in an off-site location.
  • Keep one copy of the media offline or air gapped.
  • Ensure all recoverability solutions have zero errors. //

What Is 4-3-2?
If your data is being managed by a disaster recovery expert like Continuity Centers, for example, your backups may be subscribing to the 4-3-2 rule:

  • Four copies of your data.
  • Data in three locations (on-prem with you, on-prem with an MSP like Continuity Centers, and stored with a cloud provider).
  • Two locations for your data are off-site.
New Poll on BLM Riots vs. Jan. 6 Riot Shows American People Have Pelosi's Number – RedState

According to a study of 68 cities by the Major Cities Chiefs Association, in the summer of 2020, there were at least 574 protests that involved acts of violence, including assaults on police officers, looting and arson. More than 2,000 police officers sustained injuries in the line of duty. Should congress investigate the 2020 violent protests that occurred in these cities?

66% said yes, they should, 21% said no and 13% said they weren’t sure. By comparison, only 49% said they supported Pelosi’s investigatory Committee. So two-thirds want the BLM/Antifa investigated for the full year of rioting, killing, and assaulting people, far more than support Pelosi’s investigation.

People across political parties and minorities were in support of a BLM/Antifa investigation.

Pollsters Studying Why 2020 Predictions Were So Wrong Decide to Blame President Trump Saying Mean Things About Them – RedState

Yesterday, the American Association for Public Opinion Research released a report on polling for the 2020 election. It was pretty ugly. This is the key, in my view, finding.

  • The 2020 polls featured polling error of an unusual magnitude: It was the highest in 40 years for the national popular vote and the highest in at least 20 years for state-level estimates of the vote in presidential, senatorial, and gubernatorial contests.5 Among polls conducted in the final two weeks, the average error on the margin in either direction was 4.5 points for national popular vote polls and 5.1 points for state-level presidential polls.
  • The polling error was much more likely to favor Biden over Trump. Among polls conducted in the last two weeks before the election, the average signed error on the vote margin was too favorable for Biden by 3.9 percentage points in the national polls and by 4.3 percentage points in statewide presidential polls. //

This is some great analytical jujitsu. What this guy is saying is, “We were wrong four years ago because we underestimated the number of uneducated rubes who would vote for Trump and we fixed that problem. As a result our 2020 results were worse than our 2016. But we’re really sure than its Republicans screwing around with the hard science of polling.” //

So, let’s recap. Polls favored Democrats regardless of the method used. Polls favored Democrats across most of the polling industry, no matter the modeling used by the analysts. The polls went the same direction in very similar amounts. The best reasons they can come up with is that Republicans aren’t participating because President Trump said mean things about them OR they are interviewing in great numbers Republicans who are not representative of the Republicans who turn out to vote… //

I think there is an easier explanation for what happened that doesn’t involve the entire polling industry’s failure to discover a key segment of GOP/conservative voters. The polls were conducted to drive a media narrative that America was appalled with Trump and with the GOP, and the Democrats were going to win big up and down the ticket. The polls provided the hook for “news” stories and fodder for talk shows. The idea was to create an air of inevitability about a Biden win. What they did not factor in was the anger of the conservative base and the degree to which millions of Americans felt that President Trump stood up for them and repaid that perceived loyalty by voting for him.

How to activate Microsoft Defender Application Guard in Windows 10 - TechRepublic

Microsoft Defender Application Guard protects your networks and data from malicious applications running in your web browser, but you must install and activate it first. //

Activation for TPM 2.0 and HVCI were explained before, but now we will look at the activation procedures for Microsoft Defender Application Guard in Windows 10. MDAG uses virtualization-based technology to help safeguard your systems from malicious and criminal websites that you visit with your enabled web browsers like Edge, Chrome and Firefox. //

MDAG is included with Windows 10 Professional, Enterprise and Educational versions by default. MDAG is part of Windows Features for those versions, so we will have to call up the Control Panel. //

The easiest way to get to the screen we need is to type "windows features" into the search box on your Windows 10 desktop. Be sure to select the Turn Windows Features On or Off item from the search results. //

Scroll down the list of features until you see Microsoft Defender Application Guard. Place a check in the checkbox for that item and click the OK button. The MDAG application will install and then ask you to reboot to activate. //

Now that MDAG is installed and activated, it is time to check its settings. Click or tap the Start Menu button and select Settings (gear icon). On the Settings page, select Update & Security and then select the Windows Security item from the left-hand navigation bar, //

From the right windowpane, click the App & Browser Control //

The security settings under MDAG are stricter than many of us are used to, so you may find yourself wanting to make some tweaks. Click the Change Application Guard settings link on this page to see a list of security features that you may want to turn on or off depending on your activity.

Ron DeSantis' Handling of Florida’s 'Red Tide' Issue Is the Press' Latest Failed Hit on Him – RedState

As for the cause of this ongoing problem, Mayor Kriseman would be wise to not bring up the issue. One of the primary reasons behind these algae blooms is the infusion of large amounts of human waste. The St. Petersburg water treatment has been an ongoing source of problems — problems which predate the DeSantis administration, but directly involve decisions by Kriseman. //

A sewage report issued about the city’s capacity and handling of its wastewater, detailed in The Tampa Bay Times, looked into the matter of 200 million gallons of sewage released into neighborhoods and waterways. The main cause cited was the closure of a major water reclamation facility, and the decision to forestall the expansion of other water facilities to handle a flooding emergency. This gamble, rooted in money-saving efforts, proved disastrous as the region was hit with a hurricane and a tropical storm, leading to excessive flooding.

“(St. Petersburg’s) leadership has had a culture of being willfully and negligently indifferent toward known problems in its wastewater treatment system that ultimately lead to some of the largest wastewater discharges in State history.” — Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission report

The FBI's Involvement in the Gretchen Whitmer Kidnapping Plot Goes Even Deeper – RedState

whether one believes what the FBI did crossed any lines or not is ultimately going to be in the eye of the beholder. If someone is more pro-FBI, they’ll no doubt insist these are standard tactics and that there’s nothing wrong with the FBI quite literally orchestrating a crime in order to nail people willing to participate.

For others, the question of whether the FBI should be going this far to set up and goad people into crimes in order to catch “terrorists” is going to be paramount. The story confirms that the initial meeting that got Adam Fox, the supposed radicalized person in question, involved in the plot was sponsored by an FBI agent. That’s going much further than just implanting informants in an already existent situation. //

This is way beyond line. Basically the FBI set up a scenario that did not exist to see who would join in to commit a crime. I can't think of a more obvious entrapment case. I have no confidence or respect for the FBI anymore. I can trust my local cops but not the feds
