If you’ve read anything about relay testing written in the last ten years or so, you’ll see a pattern; No-one is talking about the traditional pickup and timing tests most relay testers (and most automated relay testing software) use to test relays. You are much more likely to read terms like “dynamic testing” or “system testing”, which are the true future of relay testing. Unfortunately, these terms aren’t well defined and are usually embedded in a short article written in engineer-ese that even I, a relay testing “expert”, usually have trouble following.

How to restore domain's backup files created on local repository on one server that were uploaded to another server?

Answer
Limitations: 

• A restoration server must have the same or a higher Plesk version.
• A restoration server must have the same or higher Plesk license edition than the server where the backup has been created.

1. Connect to the server via SSH.

2. Create a backup directory for the domain, for example:

   mkdir -f /var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/example.com

3. Upload the backup files to the domain backup directory /var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/example.com. This will allow the backup to appear in Plesk UI.
   For example, if backup files are located in /root/backup directory, it is required to move them under a domain's backup directory:

   mv /root/backup /var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/example.com

4. Go to Plesk > Domains > example.com > Backup Manager and restore the backup.

Warning: A backup will not be added to Plesk Backup Manager if .discovered hidden directory is missing. In this case, restore the backup using the command line.

Exporting to a local file system

To export a backup as a file to a local file system, use the --output-file option with a <full-path-to-file>\<file-name> value.

For example, to create a backup of a subscription with ID 1 and export it to the file domain1.tgz located at /usr/local/irregular-backups/ folder:

pleskbackup domains-id 1 --output-file=/usr/local/irregular-backups/domain1.tgz

Carter was later arrested at his parents’ home in Georgia. His employer, Rep Schneider, was informed of Carter’s crimes and arrest. The Congressman’s office didn’t fire him on the spot. A Plesk backup can be restored either via Plesk interface or a command-line interface directly on a server.

Limitations:

• A Plesk xml.tar backup file cannot be restored in Plesk for Windows Server. A Plesk xml.zip backup file cannot be restored in Plesk for Linux.
• A restoration server must have the same or a higher Plesk version.
• A restoration server must have the same or higher Plesk license edition than the server where the backup has been created.
• The maximum size of an uploaded backup file is limited to 2Gb. If a backup file size is larger than 2Gb, upload this backup file via a command-line interface.

Defining data that should be backed up includes the following:

1. Defining the backup level and, unless it is the server level, optionally, selecting which resellers, customers, or subscriptions should be backed up.
2. (Optional). Defining which resellers, customers, or subscriptions should be excluded from the backup.
3. (Optional). Restricting backup to either only mail content, web hosting content, or their configuration.
4. (Optional). Specifying that log files are excluded from backup.

Generally speaking, the data that can be backed up with one call of the pleskbackup utility are represented by any single cell of the following table.

Instead of the batteries becoming the next great American success story, the warehouse is now shuttered and empty. All the employees who worked there were laid off. And more than 5,200 miles away, a Chinese company is hard at work making the batteries in Dalian, China.

The Chinese company didn't steal this technology. It was given to them — by the U.S. Department of Energy. First in 2017, as part of a sublicense, and later, in 2021, as part of a license transfer. Forever Energy, a Bellevue, Wash., based company, is one of several U.S. companies that have been trying to get a license from the Department of Energy to make the batteries. Joanne Skievaski, Forever Energy's chief financial officer, has been trying to get hold of a license for more than a year and called the department's decision to allow foreign manufacturing "mind boggling." //

The idea for this vanadium redox battery began in the basement of a government lab, three hours southeast of Seattle, called Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. It was 2006, and more than two dozen scientists began to suspect that a special mix of acid and electrolyte could hold unusual amounts of energy without degrading. They turned out to be right.

It took six years and more than 15 million taxpayer dollars for the scientists to uncover what they believed was the perfect vanadium battery recipe. Others had made similar batteries with vanadium, but this mix was twice as powerful and did not appear to degrade the way cellphone batteries or even car batteries do. The researchers found the batteries capable of charging and recharging for as long as 30 years.

Labor participation is still lower than it was before the pandemic. It likely means things like retired people having to take a part-time job and other people having to take a second job to keep up with the rising prices in the crush of Bidenflation. If you’ve looked around when you’ve gone out, you may see some evidence of this — retired-age people working jobs that you might generally see teenagers working to supplement Social Security. That’s not exactly a sign of a healthy economy, no matter how the Biden people want to slice it.

The number of people holding two full-time jobs is also at a record high. That’s also not a good thing. //
