While left-leaning media and pundits claim that evidence and science guide their decisions, the Great Barrington Declaration proves their ignorance and dishonesty. //
Last week, the three leading scientists drafted and posted The Great Barrington Declaration, a public petition calling for an end to the lockdowns and returning life to its pre-pandemic norm, except for the most vulnerable segments of our population.
The authors of the Great Barrington Declaration said they were driven by their “grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies.” Since its release, more than 13,000 infectious disease epidemiologists, public health scientists, medical practitioners, and more than 180,000 members of the general public, have signed the petition. //
The third reason the Great Barrington Declaration has gained such popular support from other medical experts and the general public is that it offers a “compassionate” way forward. It calls for replacing indiscriminate lockdown policies with “Focused Protection,” meaning focusing on protecting the most vulnerable. such as seniors. It offers some ideas such as regularly testing nursing home workers and delivering food and essentials to seniors who live at home. //
Such an approach will allow our society to eventually build herd immunity, “when a large portion of a community (the herd) becomes immune to a disease, making the spread of disease from person to person unlikely.” According to the Great Barrington Declaration, herd immunity is the best way to protect all of us in the long run, and “focused protection” is the least harmful way to achieve such immunity.
Over 70 percent of the case-patients who were contaminated with the virus fell ill despite “always” wearing a mask. //
the report suggests that “direction, ventilation, and intensity of airflow might affect virus transmission, even if social distancing measures and mask use are implemented according to current guidance.”
First off, you have the agency that all the countries work in conjunction with deciding that lockdowns don’t work. This was the result of years of no one obviously actually game playing out what could happen if some virus that was anywhere near the plague came along to visit. Everyone in the beginning just took for granted that this was what the best and brightest had decided and we needed to take it with no questions asked. Now we hear that maybe that was not the best course of action.
Then the second phase of this plan was to have everyone mask up. Of course, Dr. Faucci and the Surgeon General of the United States were not for this back in March but they came around. Now we see real data that shows that the mask-wearing is not helping stop the spread. Check out the CDC spreadsheet HERE.
Amidst plunging revenues due to the pandemic, Singapore Airlines is turning two of its Airbus A380 planes parked at Changi Airport into impromptu restaurants on October 24th and 25th, and it’s proved surprisingly popular. Bloomberg reports that all seats at the restaurants sold out within 30 minutes of bookings opening, as people rushed to recapture the excitement of balancing a tiny meal on an even tinier fold-down airline table.
Ahh, 2020 you magnificent $%^& *#$% don’t you ever change.
Well, after all the countries made a mad dash to close down their economies and threaten people to stay home or be harassed by the MAKS MOB, now comes word that the W.H.O. decides that maybe that wasn’t the best plan?
Ya think!?!?!?!?!
Right from the News of Australia down under…
The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.
Dr. David Nabarro from the WHO appealed to world leaders yesterday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.
He also claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.
“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.
“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr Nabarro told The Spectator.
“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganise, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”
“Alexandra Bowie of Regeneron told news aggregation platform Heavy in an October email that REGN-COV2 was not made with human embryonic stem cells.
“This particular discovery program (REGN-COV2) did not involve human stem cells or ESCs,” Bowie wrote. “

Moment of silence for Libs realizing the vaccine for Coronavirus is President Trump's white blood cells
The White House Press Corps had three members diagnosed with the virus last week on Friday, according to CNN. So the reporters had it before McEnany did, so it’s more likely she got it from them. Three coming down with it and a White House staffer who sits in the lower press area and has close contact with reporters also getting it suggests that’s where a concentration might be.
But the WHCA gave more detail in a memo to correspondents.
“We are writing to let you know that another member of our press corps tested positive today for COVID-19,” the memo said. “This individual was last at the White House on Saturday and subsequently traveled on Air Force One to Pennsylvania. The individual began experiencing COVID-19 symptoms yesterday.”
A third memo, at 3:35 p.m., said that a third member of the press corps has tested positive.
The individual was at the White House last Saturday and Sunday, and “began experiencing minor symptoms late Wednesday.”
So two of them were at the White House on Saturday, the day of the ACB event, and one was also there on Sunday. Then one was also on Air Force One with Trump on the trip to Pennsylvania.
So not only might they have passed it on to the staffer, they might have passed it on to others as well, including Trump. //
“Due to cases linked to the pools last weekend and the large number of press credentialed for the 9/26 Rose Garden event, we ask that if you were on the White House grounds or in the pools those days, that you pay extra attention to any changes in your health,” said WHCA President Zeke Miller.
“I have to say to the Orthodox community tomorrow, ‘If you’re not willing to live with these rules, then I’m going to close the synagogues.'” //
Cuomo’s threat to close synagogues is wrong. It should be unacceptable. In a healthy and functioning society, a governor threatening a particular faith with having the power of the state brought down upon them to force them to worship according to the diktat of the governor would be met with condemnation and disobedience.

It's coming: @nejm suggests a framework for MANDATORY vaccinations for #SARSCoV2.
"Substantive penalties could be justified, including employment suspension or stay-at-home orders for persons in designated high-priority groups who refuse vaccination."

While there is a lot of data out there, opinions on the data have Americans in a state of utter confusion thanks to a media and politicized scientific community that would much rather play politics during an election year than actually look at the data and decide whats best that way.
Narratives over data rule the day at this time and that’s about as unscientific as you can get.
There is a difference between Democrat and conservative Republican governance. Democrats, inherently statists, are all about control. Their deepest desire is to exert control over every aspect of a citizen’s life. We’ve seen some of the extremes in Democrat-dominated New York City, which forbids the sale of large fountain drinks.
Sometimes that nattering, Karen-like impulse to rule over the most minor things can be fatal. City ordinances against selling “loosies,” single cigarettes, often brought from out of state in an attempt to avoid the absurd New York State and city taxes., force police officers to waste time on minor offenses. Back in July 2014, New York City police encountered Eric Garner selling loosies. In the struggle that ensued, Garner died from asphyxiation. The officers were not indicted. The point here is not the actions of the officers, which have been well addressed elsewhere. It’s that excessive government — nanny stating — was the precursor to that confrontation and untimely death. //
In New York, more than 5,800 nursing home residents have died in connection to COVID-19, the most in the country.
On March 25, New York officials ordered nursing homes to admit infected patients, if medically stable. Then, as deaths mounted inside the facilities, Gov. Andrew Cuomo reversed the policy on May 10 under pressure from advocates and relatives.
In contrast, Florida, which never ordered nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients, reported 1043 nursing home resident deaths as of May 22, despite having more of the elderly care facilities than New York.

Vaccine scientists: "Antibodies against COVID-19 don't last. We need a vaccine to induce T-cell immunity"
Me: "Many people already have crossover T-cell immunity from common cold coronaviruses"
Vaccine scientists: "T-cells have no effect on herd immunity"
Me: "But...nevermind" //
One function of T-cells is to stimulate B-cells to produce antibodies. But T-cells can also fight off a virus even if you’re body doesn’t have the ability to generate antibodies by directly attacking and killing infected cells. //

2/ The pervasive misconception is that we have zero immunity against COVID-19. Based on this flawed understanding, epidemiologists projected that herd immunity is not reached until 60-70% are infected.
This is almost certainly wrong.
Of course, the media ignores this research

3/ While antibodies against COVID-19 may only last months, T cell immunity can remain protective for years.
In a study of 23 people who survived SARS in 2003, every single one had memory T cells that recognized the SARS virus 17 years later. (Nature)
https://nature.com/articles/s4158
4/ Moreover, blood samples from all 23 individuals showed “robust cross-reactivity” against SARS-CoV-2.
This can be called crossover immunity.
Crossover immunity is not limited to just people who were infected with SARS years ago though.
It may seem as though the debate over hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and its effectiveness as a treatment for COVID is over, but a new report from The Economic Standard argues that it shouldn’t be — and suggests that, if it is, it’s because the media and medical professionals interested in politicizing the treatment rather than helping sick people recover have done a bang-up, and ethically questionable, job of demonizing a treatment used safely the world over.
Given that rumblings have started indicating there will almost certainly be opposition to any vaccine the Trump administration promotes, the report is extremely important in the search to alleviate suffering and death from the disease going forward.
The 30 page report, entitled, “HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE AND THE BURDEN OF PROOF: An Urgent Call to Depoliticize Medicine in the COVID-19 Pandemic,” is a fascinating look at the history of the drug, how it’s currently being used to treat COVID around the world, how the U.S. media distorted information about the safety and efficacy of the drug, and how HQC should be revisited as a treatment for those with early-onset symptoms of COVID.
Peter Navarro, the Trump administration’s adviser on trade and manufacturing policy, promoted the report on twitter Tuesday, saying that it proves media outlets that downplayed the effectiveness of HCQ have blood on their hands.

“Even in an emergency,” wrote Judge William Stickman IV, of Pennsylvania’s Western District Court, “the authority of government is not unfettered. The liberties protected by the Constitution are not fair-weather freedoms — in place when times are good but able to be cast aside in times of trouble.”
His eloquent summation continued, “(T)he solution to a national crisis can never be permitted to supersede the commitment to individual liberty that stands as the foundation of the American experiment. The Constitution cannot accept the concept of a ‘new normal’ where the basic liberties of the people can be subordinated to open-ended mitigation measures.
“Rather,” Stickman wrote, “the Constitution sets certain lines that cannot be crossed even in an emergency. Actions taken by the defendant crossed those lines.”
CNN has absolutely no conscience with this stuff...

While watching this interview, it occurred to me she may be a Chinese agent planted in the US to cause more confusion. I could not put my finger on it but something told me not everything is right about her. //

“I think its very likely she is part of a group trying to drag the US into a confrontation with China that she thinks will benefit Hong Kong.”
Just saying, I find this more plausible then what I read in the article. Hong Kong-ers, would see it this way.
If it's happening in Nashville, where else is it happening?
Redfield finally considers some of the carnage he's caused but only to threaten us with more if we don't start wearing masks.
