You see, the “cages” that the left so wailed about under Trump were really chain link fencing that served as initial holding in detention facilities. The press continually used Obama-era pictures of said facilities to go after the Trump administration in one of the greater bits of media dishonesty we’ve seen in the last decade. The realities of the situation were eschewed for partisan gain, as if CBP and ICE could just release children onto the street and tell them to figure it out.
But here’s the kicker — the facilities now being re-opened under Biden were built under Trump. Therefore, in order for a fact-checker to note that the conditions have improved under Biden, they’d have to admit that it was Trump who actually improved the conditions while also revealing it was Obama who so badly screwed them up in the first place.
Regardless, the children are no less detained than they were before. Tents and shipping containers with barred windows are hardly a bastion of freedom, though the optics are slightly better, I suppose. Yet, there’s some serious poetic justice in the Biden administration having to now own criticism for what they formerly used as a political cudgel.
Roughly three dozen House Democrats have sent a letter to Joe Biden urging him to relinquish sole control of the nation’s nuclear launch codes, citing “real risks” that could lead to a rogue launch or an accidental nuclear war, according to reports. //
“While any president would presumably consult with advisors before ordering a nuclear attack, there is no requirement to do so. The military is obligated to carry out the order if they assess it is legal under the laws of war. Under the current posture of U.S. nuclear forces, that attack would happen in minutes.” //
In a segment on Australia’s Sky News last Friday, commentator Cory Bernardi said what half of America has been saying since Biden became the Democrat nominee.
“Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised. It’s clear to me at the least that U.S. President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.
“This was apparent to many during the election campaign, but such was the hatred for Donald Trump by the partisan and poisonous mainstream media, they chose to fail to highlight anything that might have derailed a Biden victory.”
“It’s all rather pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media. They believe every perceived sin of Donald Trump while they seem intent on canonizing St. Joe.”
Joe Biden is one efficient guy. On his first day in office, “blue-collar Joe” managed to kill the jobs of 11,000 unionized Keystone XL Pipeline workers, walk back a major American commitment to Canada, and slap a serious question mark on the future of U.S. oil independence — and that’s just for starters.
In contrast, in Donald Trump’s final month in office, for the first time in 35 years, America didn’t import a single barrel of crude oil from Saudi Arabia. Whether or not our friends on the left give credit to Trump is immaterial; facts are facts and numbers are numbers.
Global crude oil prices were under $50 a gallon and the average price of gas was roughly $2.30 at the end of December. Just 30 days into Biden’s “job,” global crude had jumped to $65 a barrel, and the price of gas had climbed to an average of $2.72 per gallon. //
Biden’s policies will be a yuuge benefit to the oil-dependent economies of Russia, Saudi Arabia, and… wait for it… Iran, as the price of crude continues to increase to upwards of $70 per barrel.
“There is no doubt in my mind that the irony of the Russia collusion nonsense was that there was no one who hurt Russia more than Trump and his America-first energy policies. Russia really is nothing more than a third-world country, with oil and gas. Trump’s pro-America energy policies were a disaster for Russia, and the truth is Biden is a godsend for Russia.”
According to a new report from The Washington Times, multiple members of the Obama administration met with Iran in the attempt to undermine the Trump Administration including Kerry; Robert Malley, Obama’s Middle East adviser; and Obama Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz.

If Trump did this, didn’t make a public statement of support or visit, and then went to Camp David to play Mario Kart, he’d be crucified by the press. Absolutely crucified.

Imagine the media reaction if this was CA & Trump did this:
- Apparently, TX requested to increase the capacity of fossil fuel generation to meet demand due to the upcoming winter storm & temperatures. DOE refused.

BIDEN: "Just over four weeks ago, America had no real plan to vaccinate most of the country. My predecessor, as my mother would say, 'failed to order enough vaccines,' failed to mobilize the effort to administer the shots... That changed the moment we took office." //
Even the WaPo acknowledged this in a fact check of Kamala Harris, after she told a similar lie.
The Trump administration in September had asked states to develop individual plans for vaccinating citizens, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention worked with the states to refine and develop those plans. A 75-page playbook was published and then updated at the end of October.
When even the WaPo has to concede it’s a lie, you know the lie is pretty darn obvious. But Biden still keeps saying it and he’s not called on it on the networks when he does so. He knows he’s unlikely to be checked by anyone in the networks so they keep it up because they know they think they can hoodwink Americans.

Biden says he spent two hours on the phone with Xi Jinping - “If we don’t get moving, they’re going to eat our lunch”
During the campaign, Biden said, “China's going to eat our lunch? C'mon, man!”
But Biden apparently doesn’t care, likely forcing “[r]efiners in the Midwest and the Gulf Coast…to buy more oil from adversarial states like Russia and Venezuela.”
UN international inspectors reportedly have found new evidence of nuclear activity in Iran that they failed to report, violating their international agreements. The activity could show that they have been working on making nuclear weapons. The evidence was found in areas that Iran had prevented the inspectors from checking for months last year.

'America is back': Biden ends 'America first' Trump agenda.
Learn more: http://on.msnbc.com/39MVaBp
“We will repair our alliances and engage with the world once again, not to meet yesterday’s challenges, but today’s and tomorrow’s,” Biden said during an address at the State Department that attempted to turn the page on isolationism [America first] and restore diplomacy [globalism] as the tool of choice. [Wait — who’s the “tool”?]
“America is back. Diplomacy is back,” Biden said... //

Pompeo slams Biden over 'America is back' foreign policy shift https://trib.al/BndGb6r
During an appearance on “Fox New Primetime,” Pompeo shared those thoughts with host Trey Gowdy.
“Does he mean back to when ISIS controlled a caliphate in Syria that was the size of Britain? I hope not. President Trump and our team took that down.”
[Pompeo drops mic, walks off stage.] //
“When he says “back,” when America is back, does he mean back to letting China walk all over us, destroying millions of jobs in places like Kansas and South Carolina, that we know so well? I hope that’s not what he means by back.
“He talked about allies, when he said go back, does he mean back to dissing allies and friends like Israel and treating the terrorists in Iran like friends by giving them $150 billion in pallets of cash?
“I don’t think the American people can afford to go back to eight more years of Barack Obama’s foreign policy. I hope they’ll move forward with a foreign policy look much more like our ‘America First’ foreign policy.

TIME wrote a very interesting piece making some very alarming claims. Namely, that a secret cabal banded together across the country to stop Donald Trump from winning re-election. This included everything from manipulating media coverage to getting election laws changed, at least according to TIME’s account. //

I just want to say that it is the opposite of Democracy when a secret cabal of wealthy and politically connected elites conspire to manipulate the rules and laws of an election in order to win
But s**, not like this is a new story
The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election
time.com //
No matter, this secret cabal isn’t made up of imaginary Russians so it’s all good. The left truly only care about election interference and manipulation when they deem it a threat to their own preferred outcomes. Otherwise, they are all for it. You won’t see the mainstream media decry this. You won’t see a tearful lament from Nancy Pelosi about the dangers it poses to our republic. Rather, this will all be ignored. Heck, it’ll be celebrated as a brilliant political strategy.
And while I’m sure some fact-checker will have qualms with me describing what this group did as manipulation, I believe the objective definition of that word more than applies here. When you seek to stop people from having information that could affect their vote, that’s manipulation. When you go and lobby to get certain laws changed specifically to help your side, that’s manipulation. It is what it is. //

This is the spin to make the truth, when it comes out, to be that the fraud was done to preserve Democracy.
The president is looking to raise the number of legal immigrants becoming naturalized American citizens before 2022 so they can vote in the upcoming elections. On Tuesday, he issued an executive order instructing multiple federal agencies to work on ways to increase the rates of naturalizations.
Remember when “kids in cages” was a rallying cry of the left and their mainstream media allies? Yeah, that’s quickly shifted to a much more realistic view of the world. What a coincidence, right?

Biden administration prepares to open overflow facility for migrant children

As of Friday night, Biden had signed 42 executive orders. His herculean effort dwarfs that of the previous three presidents combined. At the end of their respective first weeks in office, Donald Trump had signed four, Barack Obama, five, and George W. Bush, 0.
If the Biden Justice Department had gone this route, it would not have been able to publish that press release and the FBI Agent’s Affidavit with 24 pages detailing the horror story of a few knuckleheads on social media doing stupid memes which would only influence stupid people. By putting it all in the Affidavit which is a publicly filed document, DOJ allowed the media to run with it in covering this matter of utmost national significance — that Twitter users thought Hillary Clinton supporters were stupid enough to believe that the law had been changed so that they could vote for Hillary by sending her name via Text Message to some unnamed destination.
Let’s hear again about the politicization of the Justice Department under Donald Trump — I’m up for a good laugh on a Friday.

Summary of Jen Psaki presser thus far: “We’re going to need to circle back before we circle back to circle back on circling back so we can move forward with circling back and then we can circle back” //

When my dog starts circling back, it's a sure thing what he's going to do next.
Here he is apparently needing to read off of note cards just to know what executive orders he’s signing.
How do you need note cards for something so limited and simple? It’s kind of funny that even he believes President Donald Trump is still the president.
In a Daily Wire op-ed on Wednesday, titled “Shapiro: This Is Not Normal,” the conservative activist took apart the notion that Joe Biden — specifically, the Biden presidency — is “normal.” As Shapiro sees it, Biden’s presidency so far is anything but.
“Now, the media inform us, we have been graced by the most normal normal person to have ever normalled: President Joe Biden. Biden, they proclaim, is utterly boring, nondescript, barely worthy of coverage. His administration, too, is paradigmatically normal.
“Yascha Mounk of The Atlantic tweets, ‘It is so nice to have a boring President.” Alleged media watchdog Brian Stelter asked this week whether Biden is “making the news boring again,” adding, “The Biden White House is clearly a break from the chaos and incompetence of Trump world.'” //
On a personal level, Biden is clearly more “normal” than Trump — although treating Biden, a career politician worth nearly $10 million, as the height of normality is rather stunning.
“The goal for the establishment media isn’t to point out merely that Biden is a sort of American Everyman. It’s to use that supposed normalcy to disguise the fact that his agenda is absolutely abnormal.
The dirty little secret of the Trump administration is that despite Trump’s personal abnormality, his agenda was well in line with past precedent, and with mainstream American opinions on everything from taxes to military policy. //
“Joe Biden may be a relatively normal guy,” Shapiro wrote, in closing, “But none of this is normal.” “And pretending it is,” he correctly observed, “represents just another way for the media to reject legitimate criticisms of an administration seeking radicalism right off the bat.” //

But orange man tweets were hurting my special whittle feelings. //
“Within the first five days of his presidency, he issued 30 executive orders, compared with four for Trump, five for Barack Obama and zero for George W. Bush.
“Those executive orders included endorsement of radical reinterpretation of American history; killing the Keystone XL pipeline, along with its attendant estimated 11,000 American jobs; forcing the military to allow troops to undergo gender reassignment surgery…
“[A]nd forcing federally funded institutions to allow biological men who identify as transgender to compete alongside biological women, among others.
“He is reportedly pursuing an immigration plan directed toward reopening America’s borders. He has staffed his Cabinet by intersectional box-checking.
According to a report from National Review, Team Biden has been insisting through press conferences and administration talking heads that there was no vaccine plan to speak of when they entered the Oval Office, and they’ve been forced to start from scratch to achieve their goal of vaccinating 100 million people in 100 days. //
[P]er vaccination data from Bloomberg, the U.S. has now hit 1 million vaccinations for four days in a row, with a rolling seven-day average of 1.2 million. And on Monday, Biden himself said he hoped to raise the threshold to 1.5 million soon.
The new administration’s ability to hit its daily target immediately after the benchmark was set is evidence that they inherited a workable plan from the Trump administration, according to current and former officials.
“We provided the Biden team over 300 transition meetings, including the very first one on Warp Speed which I kicked off myself,” former Health and Human Services chief of staff Brian Harrison told National Review. “The idea that they’re walking in, having no clue what was going on, is absolutely preposterous.”
Trump provided by executive order a protection against using foreign equipment in the power grid, particularly looking at China, known for building back doors into things to gather information. //
“I’ll have to — I think the President’s view on our relationship with China I tried to do my best to convey to all of you. I’ll have to check on that specific piece, and we’ll — we’ll circle back with you directly.”
She had no real answer. She couldn’t explain why such a significant protection against China had been gutted, at least for three months or if that gutting would continue.
