NEW: Hunter Biden’s Business Dealings Created ‘Counterintelligence And Extortion Concerns,’ Senate Report Says
U.S. banks flagged multiple suspicious transactions involving Hunter, including with a Chinese businessman and a Russian billionaire
China’s campaign of forced labor has been widely exposed and documented over the past year, and the U.S. government is now taking concrete efforts to address it.
On Monday, Customs and Border Protection issued withhold release orders on four Chinese companies and a Communist Party subsidiary that are known to use forced labor. The orders block any products made by these entities from entering the United States. //
We put out a business advisory with respect to doing business in the Xinjiang province and we put American businesses on notice and businesses around the world that if you want to keep importing into the United States, you really need to disentangle yourself from these slave labor practices. And businesses have begun to respond. That doesn’t mean they all have, but the ones that are slow on their feet are going to find their products seized at U.S. ports if they don’t make the adjustments needed to avoid entangling themselves from a business standpoint with Xinjiang slave labor.
As Tropical Storm Higos blew in from the Pacific, Stephen Stanek, a covert CIA operative, faced a decision. It was time to either cancel the operation he was running or go forward with it. The storm was barreling through the Philippines but was then projected to veer north and miss their area of operation.
Stanek’s partner for the operation, a younger man named Michael Perich, had recently graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy. A football player at the academy, Perich was now at the beginning of his career in paramilitary operations and had just recently been trained as a scuba diver.
Two other men were aboard their 40-foot vessel, Jamie McCormick and Daniel Meeks, both in supporting roles. Stanek, a retired Navy ordnance disposal diver, was highly experienced but had only recently attained his license to be a ship captain, according to those who knew him.
The crew had spent the last several days sailing up the coast of the Philippines after departing Malaysia in what was to be the maiden voyage of their ship, which was secretly owned by the CIA’s Maritime Branch.
Their cover story for the 2008 mission was that a client in Japan had bought the vessel, and the crew had been hired to transport it there from Malaysia. They had paperwork and documentation to back up the story if questioned.
Their actual target was a small piece of land to the north of Luzon, the Philippines’ largest island. The CIA believed the Chinese military was occupying this small island in an area that has been hotly disputed. The U.S. in recent years has closely watched China’s military moves in the South China Sea, particularly as Beijing has built up artificial islands on reefs and atolls that were once barely visible at low tide in order to extend its territorial claims.
Biden allowed himself to be compromised while Communist China was aggressively building up its military strength by stealing US Military secrets from the US, including stealing business propriety secrets from US companies, and not skipping a beat in becoming the most serious military threat to the very survival of the United States and its ally, Taiwan.
Hunter’s small company, Rosemont, was given $1.5 Billion to create a Chinese Equity Fund entitled Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity. Hunter then got involved in many investment deals, outlined in the below listed video, including investing in companies under investigation by the FBI because they were stealing US Nuclear Secrets from the United States, and with companies intending to take control of rare earth minerals to the detriment of the US, in order to serve the interest of the Chinese Communist Military. //
Biden’s son Hunter has never been trained to manage investments, nor has he ever had the experience of dealing with the complexities of doing business in Communist China. Yet, he flew into China on Air Force Two and was given a deal by Communist China that no one else in the world has ever received in history, not Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, B of A Securities, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, etc. Those firms do not believe that an inexperienced Hunter or his small company can manage such a massive investment portfolio . //
The infiltration of the US Military Industrial Complex by Communist Chinese companies operating in the US is being supported and facilitated by Douglas Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s husband. Douglas Emhoff is employed by DLA Piper; the firm is the consultant on behalf of a bevy of Chinese Communist Party-owned companies and the firm employs former Chinese Communist Party Officials. Douglas Emhoff has served as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Sector and its Media, Sport, and Entertainment Sector since 2017.

While watching this interview, it occurred to me she may be a Chinese agent planted in the US to cause more confusion. I could not put my finger on it but something told me not everything is right about her. //

“I think its very likely she is part of a group trying to drag the US into a confrontation with China that she thinks will benefit Hong Kong.”
Just saying, I find this more plausible then what I read in the article. Hong Kong-ers, would see it this way.
Apatow is one of the few critical of China. //
Apatow continued by saying it’s not just a question of knowing if it’s okay to see a joke or not. Now it’s an entire lockdown on certain subject matters, specifically human rights abuses by China.
“Hey, I want to write a movie about the concentration camps in China and Muslims in concentration camps. I want to write a movie about someone who escapes,” said Apatow giving an example.
“No one would buy the pitch,” he said. “Instead of us doing business with China and that leading to China becoming more free, what has happened is a place like China has bought our silence with their money.” //
Hollywood’s obedience to China, and even that of sports leagues like the NBA, prove that all their talk of equality and goodness is just that…talk. When the rubber meets the road, Hollywood is fully ready to toss all of their signaled virtues into the wood chipper. Money means more than principles.
The Tibetan plateau, which serves as the source for 10 major rivers in Asia, provides water to hundreds of millions across the continent. But the Chinese regime has weaponized these waters to fuel its own industrialization, starving downstream Asian countries of this precious resource, China analyst and Tibetan activist Maura Moynihan says. //
For decades, Moynihan has traveled around the region, researching and reporting on issues facing Tibet. Her columns were previously published in outlets such as The Washington Post, but the appetite for her reporting ran dry “seemingly overnight” since the 2000s, she said. Media are now “basically doing the CCP’s bidding by removing any and all discussion of Tibet,” she added, referring to the Chinese Communist Party. //
The Chinese regime’s aggressive dam-building projects have allowed it to weaponize waters by shutting off supply to downstream countries, Moynihan said. //
For the past two years, the Mekong River—which originates in Tibet and flows through five Southeast Asian countries—has hit record-low water flows. This was caused not only by less rainfall, but also by China’s upstream hydropower dams that held back vast amounts of water, according to two reports this year.
Zhao Shengye became a household name overnight in China and among overseas Chinese communities after he suggested in a recent social media post that Beijing should deploy nuclear weapons to counter the United States’ recent actions. //
On Sept. 12, Zhao posted: “if [U.S. President Donald] Trump is bent on fighting against China…even intervening in a future war to liberate Taiwan, the ultimate result of Trump’s actions will be the destruction of all mankind.” //
Significantly, Zhao’s controversial post included an English translation as well, suggesting that it was meant for a broader audience.
-
When a nuclear submarine loaded with nuclear warheads is detonated in the Pacific Ocean, the shock waves could exceed 2,000 meters. The water would submerge surrounding areas.
-
Detonating thousands of nuclear bombs in the Himalayas at the same time could change the orbit of the earth.
-
Drilling 10,000 meters deep in the Sichuan basin and implanting thousands of nuclear bombs at the same time would trigger the collapse of the earth’s core and the extinction of human beings all over the world.
Zhao’s jaw-dropping post drew immediate reaction among netizens.Kantie, an online Chinese-language media outlet, argued that Zhao represented the Chinese regime’s authoritarian mentality of, “if I cannot survive, no one else shall be allowed to survive.”
China analysts also described Zhao as a radical nationalist. His extremist ideas became a hotly debated topic online. But about ten hours later, the post was deleted from the platform. Some netizens questioned whether authorities initially allowed the post because they wanted to threaten nuclear war with the United States.
Disney can't stonewall its way out of this one. //
If Disney thought that its recent cooperation with China’s human rights-violating government would blow over while suffering only a boycott of Mulan, then the corporation was very, very wrong.
It turns out that prominent stakeholders are about to make the corporation very uncomfortable.
“What is the issue here is thanking the Turpan Public Security Bureau, which operates in southern Xinjiang, where much of the principal photography took place,” wrote Slager. “This is the region where the controversy over the aggressive policing of the Muslim Uighurs by the Chi-Coms has been centered.”
Most of China's launch fleet is powered by hydrazine fuel and nitrogen tetroxide.
Disney's corruption is more than tragic. //
Georgia was becoming a second Hollywood with many companies filming in the state due to its cost-effectiveness. When the state passed its fetal heartbeat law many companies said they would pull out, Disney being chief among them.
They made good on their threat, but instead of going back to California to film on those lots, they decided to take their business to China. //
My colleague Brad Slager recently reported that Disney’s cooperation with China extends so far into the corrupted state that it teamed up with the organization that helps run its concentration camps in order to film its latest live-action remake of Mulan: //
Disney will not film in the United States if the place where they are filming has pro-life laws on the books that protect children in the womb. Where they will film, however, is in the backyard of a Chinese concentration camp.
Apparently, according to Disney, the latter is more wholesome than the former.
Dissident Chen Guangcheng's speech at the convention was no accident.
It's probably time to start asking if the NBA's subservience to China isn't just about money. //
Stan Van Gundy
@realStanVG
We committed genocide against Native Americans. We have enslaved, lynched, segregated and incarcerated blacks over 400 years. Women couldn’t vote for 140 years. Using abuses elsewhere to try to distract from our own poor record on human rights is dishonest. //
“we” didn’t do any of that stuff. People who are dead did that stuff within the context of their time. That doesn’t excuse past behavior in any moral sense, but there are nuances to different periods in history and it doesn’t work to try to blame current generations for something that happened in 1820. You or I are not guilty for those specific things. It’s a lazy, damaging way to look at the world.
Regardless, it’s hard to describe just how disgusting this tweet from Van Gundy is. Imagine someone from Britain in 1945 arguing that the extermination of Jews happening at that moment is just a distraction from the real issue of the Crusade in 1189. That’s the kind of gross, idiotic logic being applied here.
All this week stories have been coming out like weeds through the sidewalk that people have been receiving through the mail parcels with seeds that they have not ordered. What began as a local curiosity has mushroomed into a national story, as now thousands of people have reported receiving these unrequested deliveries in over half of the states across the country. The packages have postal markings seemingly from China, and agriculture officials have been very wary.
Reports have been received from every state in the country, according to CBS News, and agriculture officials have been issuing warnings to anyone who receives these packages. The order is to not plant any of these, and if possible to send the samples in to local agriculture or extension offices.
The United States finally has an administration willing to secure America's freedom from the Chinese Communist Party — whatever it takes. //
Two days after the United States ordered China to close its consulate at Houston within 72 hours, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo clarified the Trump administration’s foreign policy on China in a major speech on July 23. Because shutting down a country’s diplomatic mission is a very serious and provocative step, many wonder if the Sino-U.S. relationship is in freefall and what that could mean for the rest of the world. So Pompeo’s speech couldn’t have come at a better time. //
The truth is that our policies — and those of other free nations — resurrected China’s failing economy, only to see Beijing bite the international hands that were feeding it. We opened our arms to Chinese citizens, only to see the Chinese Communist Party exploit our free and open society. China sent propagandists into our press conferences, our research centers, our high-schools, our colleges, and even into our PTA meetings …
We gave the Chinese Communist Party and the regime itself special economic treatment, only to see the CCP insist on silence over its human rights abuses as the price of admission for Western companies entering China. //
So if past policies failed, what is the Trump administration’s policy, and what result the administration hopes to achieve? According to Pompeo, the Trump administration’s new China policy is rooted in practicality. This begins with treating the CCP as who they are, not whom we wish them to be.
Pompeo pointed out: “We have to keep in mind that the CCP regime is a Marxist-Leninist regime. General Secretary Xi Jinping is a true believer in a bankrupt totalitarian ideology.” Therefore, “America can no longer ignore the fundamental political and ideological differences between our countries, just as the CCP has never ignored them.” Pompeo also revised President Reagan’s famous phrase, “Trust but verify” to “Distrust and verify” when dealing with the CCP. //
On one hand, it’s setting clear expectations of what the Sino-U.S. relationship should be — balanced, fair, and reciprocal. On the other hand, it’s confronting the CCP head-on, whether it’s about the South China Sea, human rights violations in Xinjiang and Hong Kong, the trade imbalance, or years of technology theft and political influence campaigns planted by the CCP within the United States.

Regarding Durham’s probe — he said he was shocked at the silence from media on the collapse of Russiagate after all they did to sensationalize the allegations for years. Not even a “whoops” – just onto the next “false scandal”. No expressions of concern about “civil liberties or integrity of governmental processes” as reflected by that collapse. //
Most bluntly he said “This is the closest we have ever come to an organized effort to push a President out of office.” //
Maybe his strongest comments came at the end in discussing China, the CCP, and espionage aimed at stealing US technology.
He described it as a fundamental challenge to US prosperity, which he said has since the late 19th century come as a result of US leadership in technological development. In the last decade or so China has been explicitly pursuing their goal of supplanting the US in that regard.
Barr said what is at stake is nothing less than the economic opportunity of our children and grandchildren, as China will use any advantage it gains over the US in that regard for leverage.
But most significantly, he said the American business community has been a big part of the problem, and Pres. Trump has confronted this problem in ways that no one else before him has done. He said too many US businesses are willing to trade-off long-term viability of their companies for short-term profits, which then allow them to gain and execute stock options and realize personal wealth at the expense of future growth and opportunity.
The Chinese Communist Party is punishing India for working with America, and the President should show the nation stands by its friends.
The U.S. is slowly opening back up for business. But we’re far from coming out of this tunnel. About 20 million Americans remain unemployed compared to just six months ago.
Despite this sobering number, we can take heart in a silver lining: The U.S. will recover, and it’ll recover before China, the place of origin for the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
Recovery can mean a lot of things. Generally speaking, let’s assume it’s a return to pre-COVID-19 levels of gross domestic product and regaining at least 80% of economic activity lost during the first half of 2020.
The U.K. is heading for a damaging showdown with China as it takes on Beijing over Hong Kong and Huawei Technologies Co.
