The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, e-mails obtained by The Post show.
An associate at Blue Star Strategies then e-mailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.
The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.
Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.
The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) asked Judge Barrett to explain to those listening what it felt like to be a nominee for the Supreme Court.
The answer she gave was pretty powerful:
“I’ve tried to be on a media blackout for the sake of my mental health,” Barrett told the committee. “You can’t keep yourself walled off from everything and I’m aware of a lot of the caricatures that are floating around.”
She added: “We knew that our lives would be combed over for any negative detail. We knew that our faith would be caricatured. We knew our family would be attacked. And so we had to decide whether those difficulties would be worth it because what sane person would go through that if there wasn’t a benefit on the other side?”
Barrett continued to say that the benefit is “that I’m committed to the rule of law and the role of the Supreme Court in dispensing equal justice for all. And I’m not the only person who can do this job. But I was asked, and it would be difficult for anyone. So why should I say someone else should do the difficulty if the difficulty is the only reason to say no?”
The Steele Dossier, which formed the basis of the Trump-Russia investigation and was heavily used in the fraudulent Carter Page FISA warrant, has already been thoroughly exposed as a work of absolute trash. Christopher Steele is nothing but a world-class grifter who used third-hand Russian misinformation to put together what was simply meant to be a political hit piece. That the FBI and DOJ used it to the extent they did should be disqualifying for everyone involved.
In fact, one of the main sources for the document turned out to be a man suspected of being a foreign spy, so much so that the FBI held a multi-year investigation into him until he left the country and was no longer seen as a threat (see Bombshell: Top Steele Dossier Source Was Suspected Russian Spy). //
Not only was Steele using probable Russian spies to have bad, false information fed to him, he was also using the sister of a DNC operative as corroboration for some of the more salacious episodes. That includes the hotel room “orgy” in Moscow charge, which was absolutely not true.
That DNC operative also happened to be involved in the Ukraine operation being run by Hillary Clinton, which was seeking dirt on Donald Trump during the 2016 election. In other words, this was all very prevalent and pervasive, with the same characters continually popping up in the narrative. Chalupa had zero credibility to be used as sourcing by the FBI in this regard.
This same story played out over and over in regards to Steele’s dossier, with not a single bit of salacious information ever being confirmed.

Laws for me, but not for thee....
It seems they forget that, despite their intent or their connivance, laws really are "one size fits all." That is why it is so critical to assign political powers to the proper level of their exercise: that municipal affairs should be empowered and conducted at the municipal level; that State affairs should be empowered and conducted at State level, while bearing in mind that everything they do, even regarding municipalities, is "one size fits all". And that's especially true at the Federal level - which is what the Founders were trying to accomplish, and which is the lodestone for small government Conservatives. If a law requires certain regional or class carve-outs, then it is not being assessed at its proper level of governance. (Or it is not yet "ripe" enough for consideration. The Supreme Court seems to be the only body that even tries to embrace that concept.)
Meanwhile, it's not the laws but the AG enforcement, or lack thereof, that creates the two-tiered legal system we find ourselves living under.
In this fray are two entrepreneurs with an updated design for a molten salt fast reactor (MSFR). They are Carl Perez and Ed Pheil, joint owners of Elysium Technologies USA.
Price is one of the big selling points, according to Perez and Pheil. Their 1,200 MWe reactor won’t be pressurized, but it will operate at high temperatures, cutting back dramatically on the balance of plant costs like a containment structure and fuel.
Additionally, and possibly the deciding selling factor, because it will be a fast reactor with a molten fuel, it will be able to use nuclear waste as a fuel and burn it up over time. A fast reactor has an unslowed neutron flux and needs no moderator, like the water in light water reactors.
According to Pheil and Perez, these are the principal selling points of their molten chloride salt fast reactor (MCSFR):
· Fueled with nuclear waste from weapons and other reactors
· Air cooling
· Process heat
· No downtime to fuel
· Lower reactor, fuel, and balance of plant costs
· Doesn’t have to be near a large water source
· A potential source of hydrogen generation at reasonable cost
Initial funding of just $7 million came from visionary angel investors. Now, Perez told me, Elysium’s next round of funding will enable the engineering and licensing of a small, 10MWt demonstration plant, the size determined by Nuclear Regulatory Commission rules.
Design work on neutronics and fuel production has been carried out at Argonne National Laboratory and Idaho National Laboratory with GAIN (Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear) funding from the DOE
The upshot of this brief historical overview is that incumbent Presidents have rarely lost their re-election efforts, and whey they did the circumstances generally included poor economic conditions (Hoover, Carter, and Bush 41), combined with facing a very strong opponent (Hoover/Roosevelt, Carter/Reagan, Bush 41/Clinton).
We are currently facing very challenging economic times, but they are the result of external factors, not the policies of the Trump Administration. The economic policies of the Trump Administration produced some of the best economic times ever.
And Joe Biden is among the worst challenger ever to face-off against an incumbent President. He’s nowhere close to the political actors that Roosevelt, Reagan, and Clinton were.
While Pres. Trump is polarizing, he’s not unpopular in his own party the way Carter was, and to a lesser degree Pres. Bush 41. Pres. Trump did not face a challenge from inside his owner party like Carter did, not does have have to deal with a significant Third Party candidate like Pres. Bush 41 did.
Setting aside the hysteria caused by the political press, this election has none of the historical earmarks of prior re-election efforts where the incumbent lost.
Hunter Biden discussed leveraging his connection to his father in a bid to boost his pay from a Ukrainian natural gas company, according to an email he sent around the time he joined the firm’s corporate board.
In a lengthy memo to his then-business partner, Devon Archer, who already sat on the Burisma board, Biden repeatedly mentioned “my guy” while apparently referring to then-Vice President Joe Biden.
Under President Barack Obama, the elder Biden was the point person for US policy toward Ukraine, and he held a press conference there with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on April 22, 2014.
Hunter Biden’s email to Archer is dated a little more than a week earlier.
“The announcement of my guys [sic] upcoming travels should be characterized as part of our advice and thinking- but what he will say and do is out of our hands,” Hunter Biden wrote on April 13, 2014.
The email, labeled from Robert Biden — Hunter’s first name — is among a trove of messages, documents, photos and videos purportedly recovered from a MacBook Pro laptop that a Delaware computer shop owner told The Post was brought in for repair in April 2019 and never picked up.
The Constitution, the highest legal document in the land, has always been a guiding light for the nation, keeping its people protected from power-hungry people and schemes that would upset their liberties.
For Democrats, the Constitution is a thorn in their side. Their der wille zur macht is consistently thwarted by the stopping power of the document laid down by men far smarter and wiser than they are.
For the left, they found that the Constitution is something they can’t defeat. Even after decades of eroding the American people’s will to support it, Americans are still reluctant to toss it into the scrap heap. //
They attempt to find gaps in the Constitution’s reasoning, argue over comma placements, attempt to translate what the founders would have meant in today’s day and age, etc.
In order to do that, they must appoint Justices who will do this very thing when possible. The Justices have a constructionalist philosophy. Their method is to be presented with legislation and proceed to find a way to make it legal. //
For Democrats, Barrett is far from the kind of person they want on the Supreme Court. She’s a textualist, meaning she won’t be interpreting legislation and attempting to make laws fit. If they’re presented to her and they don’t fit within the boundaries of the Constitution, she’ll rule against it. //
Deep behind it all, however, is the fact that Democrats are lying about Barrett and dragging her through the mud because they don’t like her. She’s not one of them. She’s going to make it harder to subvert the American people and have their way. Their ability to increase in power has been staunched and they hate her for it.
And that’s fine. If it upsets the people who would rule over you and I and have their way with the country, then their anger is as revealing as it is pleasurable to see.

“56% of Americans said that they are better off today than they were 4 years ago under the Obama-Biden administration. Why should they vote for you?”
Biden: Well if they think that, they probably shouldn’t //
Biden’s default is to insult the very people he claims to want to win over in this election cycle. That’s politically idiotic, which is why it’s so obvious that he simply can’t control himself. An inability to process and respond rationally is yet more evidence of his clear mental decline. No candidate in their right mind would tell 56% of the country to not vote for them, but Biden just did that because he can’t control himself, and we all know why.
Biden is not well. Period.
It’s rather interesting that the blue-check feminists have focused in on this singular fact about Barrett. A multitude of things were discussed but these women seemed to zero in on this and one has to wonder why.
It’s obvious that feminists hate the idea of motherhood. They’ve looked down on it for some time and consider dedicating your life to raising children to be beneath women. Large families are frowned upon by the social justice community and often looked at as either a waste of a woman’s time or selfishness if you ask some of them.
To me, it too often looks like jealousy of happiness that feminists refused to have. They’ve been told that they don’t need men and that children are a hurdle, not a blessing.
Thing is, children bring a kind of fulfillment, and refusing them, or even looking down on it, robs you of it. It’s not a lifestyle choice, it’s in our biological programming. One way or another you’re going to feel the absence.
I think feminists feel it more than they say they do.
Rubber ducking is more than just a funny phrase — it is and has been for many developers, a godsend. Simple in its nature, yet powerful in its execution, rubber ducking can save you a ton of time when running into challenges with your code.
By definition, rubber ducking is short form for ‘rubber duck debugging’ and is simply a method of debugging code. Conceptualized from a book where a programmer carried around a rubber duck with them, and had to explain their code line-by-line to the rubber duck. Odd origination, brilliant concept!
The method behind this concept really is very simple — explain your code to someone or to an inanimate object, or to the sky (as long as you get those words out of your head!). This is so that you can try and break down what it is you are trying to accomplish with the code that has got you stuck in the first place. By doing so, you are being forced to get out of your own head and actually explain what is going on with your code. Very often, by rubber ducking a problem, a developer can run into a solution without having to do any Googling whatsoever.
Side note, while rubber ducking an inanimate object works tremendously well, why not take it up a notch and rubber duck with a co-worker or a friend? If you think explaining something to that cute orchid plant on your desk can work wonders, imagine how great it feels to rubber duck with someone else who probably has some awesome advice or insight into your problem too! You never know who has had a coding dilemma practically identical to your own, and has exactly the advice you need to resolve that challenge.
On top of that, even rubber ducking with someone who has no experience with coding whatsoever can be a fantastic asset as well. By explaining your code to someone with no actual understanding of code, you are being forced to break things down into really simplistic terms, in a way that a beginner would understand. This helps to remove all the junk from your explanation, and hopefully demystify things altogether!

Throughout the process, Barrett has had very little sitting in front of her with the exception of a singular notepad. At one point, Texas Senator John Cornyn couldn’t help but notice how cluttered everyone’s space is with notebooks, documents, and more on their side while her desk only sported a singular notepad.
“You know most of has multiple notebooks and notes and books and things like that in front of us,” said Cornyn. “Can you hold up you’ve been referring to in answering our questions?”
She did as requested and presented a notepad that had absolutely nothing written on it.
“Is there anything on it?” asked Cornyn.
Without skipping a beat, Barrett answered like a boss.
“That letterhead that says “United States Senate”,” she said smiling.
“That’s impressive,” responded Cornyn. //

You don’t need notes when you’re not trying to fling BS or lie. //

Not to take anything away from her answer, but I kind of suspect that was a setup from Cornyn. It just seemed to be too convenient a question from him.
But even if it was, she gets 100% for delivery!

She didn't know in advance. Some democrat media monkey for NBC or ABC tweeted out a photo from above showing the blank pad and insulting Barrett for not having notes. Cornyn must have got wind of this and asked his question. //

That is why having an underlying thing of value (such as faith and reverence for God) is a plus.
The Democrats have been attempting to sell the idea that Trump failed the coronavirus response and that there are so many dead here in America because he failed to act in a timely manner. This is, of course, a whopping falsehood. When Trump was closing off countries from the United States in order to limit the spread, Democrats were calling him xenophobic for doing so. In fact, it was Democrats who were out in the streets telling everyone to come out and not be afraid of the virus at all.
Now, the New York Times released a report citing experts who have “genuine confidence” that the pandemic will be over far faster than many anticipated and that Trump’s plan to combat the virus called “Operation Warp Speed” is “working with remarkable efficiency.”
New York Times Author Donald G. McNeil Jr. wrote of the optimism and good signs being seen in America. For instance, he notes that the U.S. is doing far better under the coronavirus than it did under the Spanish flu: //
How this will affect the campaigns is yet to be seen, but I can’t expect it to have a good effect on the Democrats who have been selling fear and pushing for lockdowns. Trump, who has been pushing for fearlessness and not being ruled by this virus, can only benefit. //

They're preparing for a Biden win. All the polls show Biden winning, so they need to make sure that the country sees itself on a good path to recovery in time for Biden to not have this monster hanging around his neck, claiming victory even, in the way they've hung it on the President's.

Oddly, I read it the opposite, way, as if they know Biden will lose so there's no point dragging out the Covid-scare any longer, because NYC is dying economically and they are based there. But you may be correct.

That has a good chance of being correct, too. They have to know that killing the economy did not help them: that Cloward-Piven can backfire. Plus Biden just announced today that anyone who actually thinks the economy has improved shouldn't vote for him then.
