The head of a media watchdog organization says the media’s failure to cover eight stories may be the reason President Donald Trump lost the election.
“The media can talk all day long about Donald Trump and all day long about things that he’s doing wrong,” Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center, said on a call Tuesday unveiling a poll the center commissioned, “Special Report: The Stealing of the Presidency, 2020.”
“It is absolutely unequivocal, the evidence that it was the national news movement that deliberately, and I underscore deliberately, made it a point not to tell the public about these stories that nobody can question,” Bozell said. “And now we’re showing the evidence that it cost Donald Trump the election.” //

The eight themes included three negative ones about the Biden-Harris ticket, including Sen. Kamala Harris’ liberal viewpoints and the sexual assault allegation former Vice President Joe Biden faced, and five positive stories about the Trump administration, including 33.1% economic growth and the Middle East peace deals.
In whole, the survey found that 17% of people who cast their ballot for Biden “would have changed their vote if they had been aware of one or more of these important stories,” according to Noyes. //

The public showing of the redesigned Google Pay is less than a week old, but already there are important insights into how it could reshape the commerce landscape and the players operating within it.
In the wake of a spectacular runway excursion earlier this month, Russian cargo airline Volga-Dnepr has grounded its fleet of Antonov An-124 aircraft. According to the airline, the grounding is a proactive and pre-emptive decision made in-house.
When officials in Utah on Monday revealed they had found a shimmering, metal structure deep in the Red Rock desert, they refused to say exactly where.
They hoped that would be enough to deter amateur adventurers from setting off to find it, risking getting dangerously lost in the process.
But there was little chance that people would abide by this advice. By Wednesday, pictures were emerging on Instagram of people triumphantly posing with the monolith, eager to show the world that they had got there first - even if the wider mystery of why it is there remains unsolved.
Sidney Powell made good on her promise to file an astonishing lawsuit on Wednesday night.
On behalf of several Republican Presidential Electors, Powell — joined as Plaintiffs’ counsel by famed Atlanta trial attorney Lin Wood — filed a 104-page complaint
The complaint alleges that various uncontrolled and open parts of the software architecture are designed so that real-time activity logs can be modified to delete activity involving vote switching and/or addition/subtraction from the accumulated vote totals in such a way that the activity would not appear on the activity logs as part of an audit.
The Aerial, first and foremost, is a silent movie. It came out in 2007 but looks like the classic sci-fi films of cinema's infancy, like Metropolis or A Trip to the Moon. It depicts a nameless city where the populace has lost the ability to speak, instead communicating in subtitles that appear in the air around them. The only person with a voice is the mysterious television host La Voz.
The plot follows a young girl named Ana and her family as they encounter a conspiracy to use La Voz's voice as a deadly weapon and fight to stop it using her young son, who inherited her ability to speak. "They can take our voice, but they can't take our words," Ana's father says. That becomes the thesis statement of the entire work.
The joy in The Aerial is how it revives the experimental form that film took when it was brand new. Practical effects are combined with film cutouts and exposures to create a movie where every shot feels new and revolutionary. It comes as no surprise that the director, Esteban Sapir, is primarily a cinematographer. He throws every filmmaking trick that exists at The Aerial, all without relying on CGI to create something after the fact.
News reports last month claimed that in late 2019 the FBI had opened an investigation of matters related to information found on a laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden. Would the bureau continue its probe under a Biden administration? Doubtful. In fact, it’s unlikely there was ever any investigation at all.
One of the key findings is that Americans believe “religious identity cannot be quarantined.” In other words, “Religion is part of who Americans are, not just something they do. Respondents support protections that reflect the reality of religious identity.”
Among those surveyed, 60% agree that religion is a “fundamental part of ‘who I am’ and should be protected accordingly.” This finding explains a core conflict between local and national political leaders and people of faith during the ongoing quarantine. //
The concept of religion as an identity, rather than as an activity or hobby, must seem very foreign to many public officials, which would explains why, throughout this past year, they repeatedly treated churches like nonessential businesses, or, as in the case of some states such as Nevada, seemed to treat churches even worse.
The New York Times reported on Tuesday that after Election Day, Facebook quickly changed its algorithm to prioritize establishment left-leaning news outlets over others.
From the Times:
“In response, the employees proposed an emergency change to the site’s news feed algorithm, which helps determine what more than two billion people see every day. It involved emphasizing the importance of what Facebook calls ‘news ecosystem quality’ scores, or N.E.Q., a secret internal ranking it assigns to news publishers based on signals about the quality of their journalism.”
The author explained that N.E.Q. scores play only “a minor role” in deciding what content shows up on users’ feeds. But after the election, Zuckerberg chose to “increase the weight that Facebook’s algorithm gave to N.E.Q. scores to make sure authoritative news appeared more prominently.”
What’s more dangerous about Facebook’s decision is that many of its employees are pushing for the change to become permanent, according to the Times.
The airline reported the aircraft carried 84 tons of cargo from Seoul (South Korea) to Vienna (Austria) with a technical stop in Novosibirsk, where the aircraft after departure to Vienna performed an emergency return. The crew was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, no injuries occurred. A support team was dispatched to Novosibirsk with all needed equipment to assess the damage and move the aircraft off the runway.
In a videotaped interview the captain of the flight reported that the #2 engine (inboard left) blew up at about 1000 feet AGL (300 meters above ground) just after gear retraction with flaps still extended for takeoff, debris damaged the aircraft's cabling and took out all electrical supply resulting in the loss of all eletrical systems including instruments, brakes, thrust reversers etc. The aircraft remained controllable despite all electricity gone and all communication, even intercom having failed, lost. The crew attempted to establish visual contact with tower, however, without success, and proceeded to land on runway 25 with very little margin due to low altitude and engine thrust. After a smooth touchdown the overrun was unavoidable due to the loss of brakes, spoilers, thrust reversers.
On Nov 17th 2020 Rosaviatsia reported the aircraft carried 6 flight crew and 8 other crew as well as 83.5 tons of freight. As result of the destruction of the #2 engine in flight the aircraft sustained damage disabling the continuation of the flight and disallowing the possibility to stop the aircraft on the runway after landing. The aircraft overran the runway by about 300 meters/1000 feet resulting in the destruction of gear structures. Numerous holes punched through the fuselage damaged the structural integrity, the structural integry of the landing gear was compromised, numerous holes were punched into elements of the wings as well as the engine pylon. The crew reported the failure of the #2 engine caused the loss of braking, loss of power supply of the aircraft, loss of radio communications as well as limitations in the engine control. The gear was extended manually, the right hand nose gear did not extend (only the left hand nose gear and main gear struts extended).
According to Mode-S and ADS-B data the aircraft departed runway 25, climbed out, began turning right, reached 1825 feet MSL before the signal disappeared about 3.5nm past the runway end.
