If you read the dissent by Sotomayor, had the Court followed Lemon and subsequent cases based on Lemon, this would have been a slam-dunk for the Bremerton School District. The rules have changed, and the nation should be grateful that the Supreme Court has put aside official hostility to religion and replaced it with a policy of neutrality.
