These quality Single Twin Sized Loft/Bunk Bed Plans from Mike's Plans will allow you to construct your own loft/bunk bed quickly and efficiently for years of enjoyment. The plans will be mailed to you on a cd in pdf format. You can print them on 8.5" x 11" size paper. As you can see by the pictures, we will show you how you can add an additional bed, a shelf (or multiple shelves) and a desk top (same construction as the shelf) with material dimensions and assembly instructions.

Many customers are innovative and will come up with thier own ideas as well. One possible scenario that we have shown you is a clothes hanging rod material list for this option or assembly instructions are not included. Feel free to send us a finished photo of your bed as well with your ideas.

**As mentioned above, these plans are designed for a single twin sized bed with the dimensions of 39" x 75" and a 6"-8" thick mattress. A long twin sized mattress is 36" x 80". The long twin sized mattress will fit on the upper loft, but will have a couple inches of space to spare on each side. If this is not an issue, then these plans are what you need. Adjustments to account for mattress thickness is easy and we will show you how. Adjustments to the width would also be easy, but will require careful planning on your part.***

Overall size of the bed is 46" x 82" x 77-1/2", however the 77-1/2" will be taller if your mattress thickness is greater than 6"-8". It can also be shorter if desired, by simply moving the top loft down 7" at a time (top of one ladder rung to the next), and adjusting overall dimensions 7" per time. The distance from the floor to the underside of the loft bed is 59-1/2".
