I've been receiving a lot of responses to the 500-mile email story. Since I originally posted it, it has been forwarded massively, far beyond anything I anticipated. While most of the responses are just to say, "thanks, fun story" or the like, and some have been solicitations for work (thanks, and keep them coming!), a not-insubstantial portion have been of, might I say, the nit-picking variety.
