.@RandPaul evicerates Dr. Fauci over the “theater” of requiring Americans already immune from Covid to continue wearing masks.
Fauci’s ultimate rebuttal: “I totally disagree with you”

Dr. Fauci admits his wearing masks indoors despite being vaccinated was based on imagery, not science:
"I didn’t want to look like I was giving mixed signals but being a fully vaccinated person, the chances of my getting infected in an indoor setting is extremely low."

Now, what do you call someone performing for purposes of imager instead of objective data? You might call that “theater,” right? In other words, Paul was right all along and Fauci was not only wrong, but he was maliciously misleading at the same time.
This is yet another example of the federal government, including Fauci, lying to the American public for what they deem as “their own good.” That’s not how any of this is supposed to work. How can there be any expectation that people trust “the science” when bureaucrats citing said science continue to mislead for political purposes? Further, it should scare everyone that the government is willing to lie about what’s real and what’s not without even a hint of remorse. If they will lie to you about masks, what else will they lie to you about?
Unhappy at inheriting a quiescent Middle East where Israel and the Arab world are developing economic, security, and diplomatic ties and Iran is so cash-strapped that it is finding it difficult to fund its terrorist operations, the Biden bunch is, in a flashback from the Obama administration, attempting to bolster Iran as the regional superpower while limiting assistance and cooperation with our Arab allies and with Israel. The same sort of big-brain thinking that gave us the Arab Spring, a terrorist state in Libya, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Syria, and made Iraq into a de facto Iranian satrapy is now trying to encourage the Palestinians to engage in a new intifada. //
The success of Iron Dome and the astonishing lack of casualties on both sides should be a cause for hope and celebration among sane people but such folk are in short supply on the pages of the Washington Post. For instance, there is this from the Washington Post’s aptly named “Monkey Cage” section that purports to provide “Analysis:” Israel’s Iron Dome defense system protects Israeli lives. It also perpetuates the Israel-Gaza conflict. //
Consider this for a moment. You have a defensive system that protects Israelis from Hamas terrorism and because it is damned effective, there is no political pressure on the Israeli government to conduct a punitive expedition into the terrorist stronghold of Gaza. This saves the lives of Israeli soldiers and Gazan civilians. Yet, the system is bad because it saves lives, renders Hamas terrorism ineffective, and Israel is not bludgeoned into accepting a victory by the terrorists. This is an incredible admission that the Washington Post stands foursquare with Hamas terrorists and their methods and endorses the idea that the more people killed the better. //
In 2014, the WaPo ran another op-ed, with the same message headlined _The missiles keeping Israel safe may do more long-term harm than good-. //
First off, saving lives is a good thing. I think there is one of those “commandment” thingies about it in some religious book or the other, I’m pretty sure. Saving lives from terrorist attacks is something that civilized people celebrate. Second, as someone who knew something about armed conflict, that would be Carl von Clausewitz, observed a while back, war is just a continuation of political intercourse by other means. Negotiations and rocket attacks are just different points on the conflict continuum with the same objective. The conflict ends when both sides agree that there is nothing to gain from pursuing said conflict. Third, there is no evidence, anywhere, that negotiating with a terrorist state that preaches literal genocide produces a better or more permanent outcome than just killing them. Killing terrorists without losing your own soldiers or killing innocent civilians in large numbers is a good thing. Trust me. It really is.
“Democrats are now wearing Binkies to wean themselves off masks.” As The Bee reported:
With the CDC finally relaxing some guidelines around mask-wearing, Democrats are facing the dread of parting with something that has been giving them feelings of safety and security for over a year.
To help them cope with the loss, many Democrats are turning to baby pacifiers to help wean them off the masks.
“The binky is a perfect bridge toward a maskless future,” said one Democrat.
“He then quickly popped the rubber nipple back in his mouth for a few minutes before continuing. “I think it’s important to be open and vulnerable about the trauma we have all experienced in the last year.”
Even when you pay for a decryption key, your files may still be locked up by another strain of malware.
Windows 10 comes with its own baked-in antivirus solution called Windows Defender, and it is enabled by default when setting up a new PC. At the very least, that affords you some basic protection against the many malware threats out in the wild. But did you know there is an added optional layer that can keep your pictures, videos, work documents, and other files safe in the event of a ransomware infection? The caveat is that you have to manually enable ransomware protection in Windows 10.
Or more specifically, a feature called 'Controlled folder access.'
To enable it, type 'Ransomware protection' in the Windows search bar, or take the long way by navigating to Settings > Update & Security, click on Open Windows Security, click on Virus & threat protection, then scroll down and click on Manage ransomware protection.
The Controlled folder access toggle is set to 'off' by default (or at it least it was on my PCs). Turning it on designates specific folders that only trusted apps have permission to access, and you can add folders beyond the ones that are selected by default. There's also a section to grant specific apps permission to access your protected folders, if need be.
In the longer term scrap metal might have a more material role in China’s steel industry – China wants to double production from its electric arc furnaces over the next four or five years – but its ambitions will have only modest impacts on its demand for iron ore and iron ore prices in the medium term.
Along with a crackdown on iron ore futures trading last week – the authorities vowed to punish market manipulation – the actions helped slightly lower the iron ore price, from more than $US230 a tonne to around $US210 a tonne. Iron ore started this year priced at less than $US160 a tonne, having traded down to around $US60 a tonne just over a year ago.
China’s reliance on Australian iron ore for almost two-thirds of its steel industry’s requirements and Vale’s continuing struggles to restore production after its tailing dam disasters and pandemic-related disruptions in Brazil means there is little it can do to curtail purchases of Australian iron ore without hurting its steel industry and economy.
Even if it can develop new sources of supply, with the giant Simandou resource in Guinea the most obvious, they would be higher-cost (development of the infrastructure for Simandou could cost the best part of $US20 billion), are nearly a decade away and would in any event probably represent only about 10 per cent of China’s existing demand.
On this Armed Forces Day, with a goal to inform and educate American citizens and to protect every member of the US Armed Forces serving the Republic, we are exposing the very dangerous initiative hatched by Biden/Harris/Obama to the American Citizens, that is destroying the “Combat Effectiveness” of the US armed forces. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin hired a radical DOD extremist czar and fellow graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, Bishop Garrison, to search for and oust so-called extremists from the US armed forces. Bishop Garrison’s official title is “Senior Advisor to The Secretary of Defense on Human Capital and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” Garrison will oversee the implementation of immediate actions required to combat “patriot extremism, as well as the development of the mid-term and long-term recommendations for the continued engagement to combat future patriot extremism in the ranks.
Garrison is a racist activist who believes in and provides support for the racist principles of the 1619 Project, which is based on outright lies that never actually occurred in American history. He is implementing a very sinister and extremely dangerous initiative in the US Armed Forces, by force-feeding Critical Race Theory into the entire US Armed Forces, which is degrading the combat effectiveness and unit cohesion of the US military. The Obama regime screened inept woke Superintendents at West Point and the US Naval Academy have been inserting Critical Race Theory, politics, and racism into the curriculum of those Service Academies, to the detriment of unit cohesion, comradery, and morale in the Long Gray Line and in The Brigade of Midshipmen.
Bishop Garrison has repeatedly stated that anyone in the US Armed Forces who supported President Donald J. Trump is a racist and must be purged from the US military. Garrison does not see Army Green; instead, he only sees “race,” unlike every recruit trained in the US Army over the last 80 years who have been taught that there is only one color in the US Army (Army Green). Garrison is only searching for MAGA Red and is determined to get all of those supporters of President Trump out of the US military. That is a flagrant violation of the civil rights of every member of the US Armed Forces, but Secretary Austin has given Garrison free range to hunt out and eliminate career opportunities for any patriot supporter of President Trump. //
this is a racist quest by Bishop Garrison which was started by Obama in 2008 with EO 13583. It is being driven forward by the Marxists, socialists, and the Biden/Harris/Obama administration to purge the US Armed Forces of patriotic Americans and destroy the military readiness, combat effectiveness, and unit cohesion of the US armed forces while eliminating any support for the principles that The Founding Fathers laid out in the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, and the Bill of Rights while substituting the racist principles of the 1619 Project.
On Monday, the Supreme Court, in a 9-0 decision in Caniglia v. Strom, overruled the First Circuit Court of Appeals which had held a plaintiff’s Fourth Amendment rights had not been violated in a civil case involving the police entering his house without a warrant to seize lawfully owned and possessed firearms inside. //
There is an interesting factual anomaly here that I noted in my earlier article.
Among the three judges on the panel of the First Circuit Appeals Court that extended the doctrine to cover warrantless searches of homes was retired Supreme Court Justice David Souter.
You could look at this as the Supreme Court unanimously reversing a former Supreme Court Justice.
I’m not sure that has ever happened before.
